I ordered this as my old foot file is rather old and starting to wear out. The file is sturdy and well made, there’s a useful plastic storage pouch too. I file the hard skin on my heals daily, and was surprised how much more this file took off compared to my old one. You need to be quite gentle to prevent it skipping, but you soon find the right amount of pressure. The results were very good, with a smooth finish and no soreness.

This glass foot file is approximately 23cm long, of which 9cm is the file area and the remaining 14cm is the handle. It is made from solid plastic and has a very ergonomically shaped handle which makes it both easy to hold and comfortable to use. It comes packaged in a good quality soft plastic storage sleeve which ensures safe storage of the file.My only concern with this file is that the file area is very sharp and you should take great care when using it. You don't need to apply any pressure when filing, just allow the weight of the file to be the pressure and move the file very slowly in small back and forth movements.This is a very well made glass foot file and it does its job very well. Just take care when using it and constantly monitor the foot area you are filing.I can recommend this as I do find it very useful.

I have huge issues with dry skin on my feet during the summer, and no amount of moisturising gets rid of the dryness round my heels and the outer edges of my feet.This is mainly because I live in Sandals and my feet are constantly exposed to the elements, I have a pedicure regularly but the skin still gets dry in the interim. This Foot file is an absolute godsend, and if you use it after a shower removes all the dead skin without fuss and leaves your feet silky smooth. It works quickly and does not require you to apply massive amounts of pressure either so also good for those with issues of gripping and pressure.Highly recommend.

I mainly use an electric foot file, because manual ones aren't very good, but this great! So much better than the little foot files I have had before. Lovely quality, good abrasiveness without being too harsh. Feels nice to hold and comes with a little plastic case for storage. It looks good quality too. For the price (£7.99 at time of review) I'm really pleased.

I have always used battery skin removal. Lately it's not that good this arrived earlier, and as I was going out this evening and wearing sling back shoes I wanted to look nice. I tried this file to see if it was any better, my goodness it is brilliant, what the battery misses this got in a minute, you do need to hold your foot over a bin or towels as you can see how much comes off. My heels are so soft better than the other removers I have, easy to clean too just put under the tap. I'm really pleased with this it's amazing. Well worth buying.

This is quite effective. I've used glass foot files before that haven't really made much impact. This is medium abrasive, but you only get one choice of surface. The glass appears to be well stuck into the holder. I've had it fall off in the past. I also like the fact that this has got a little plastic case to keep it in. At around eight quid I'd say this is a good option. 👍🏻
