Does exactly what it is meant to do! My 12yr old dog loves this. As soon as I put it down he was on it and didn't get off. It stopped him panting through the night, so a better nights sleep was had buy all! To make this colder before my dog lies on it, I put it in the fridge for 15 minutes - works a treat and stays cooler for longer. Well worth the money and I would definately recommend.

A great item to help your dog to keep cool in the hot weather. As well as providing plenty of fresh water and maybe a fan or air con, this is a great supplement for cooling down. Even the cats took a turn chilling out on it in the recent very hot weather. It would also work for us humans as you could lay it on your bed or in the garden.

the dog figured it out after a few minutes on a hot day. after receiving it i kept it in the freezer for 20 mins before giving it to him. i have a bull mastiff so hes a larger dog but i think the mat is abit small however he lies down on it so his body is all covered so i guess it isnt that small. bright blue like pictures hope this helps

Bought this may for our 18month old chocolate lab who is a chewer. I was a bit worried that he would have a chew. As the weather was very hot and our boy was struggling in the heat. Arrived the following day as promised. Unpacked the mat and have it a shake. Our not took to it straight away. Surprise surprise. Lies on it every day and has not tried to chew. Well worth the money and will take it to our caravan for holidays.

When this arrived the dog loved it and it definitely cooled her down. She still sits on it so definitely think it helped her on very hot days.The downsides are it got caught under a chair and ripped easily, and now all the goo leaks out which isn't great. The mat is also in four compartments of rectangle gel pads, which over time have become twisted and you can't get them back into place. This makes it less cool and very lumpy so unfortunately after Summer has ended will be throwing away which feels very wasteful.

Bought this is the heatwave for our Westie and he loves it, great for keeping your dog cooler in the hot weather

My 10 year old French Water Dog (roughly same size as medium lab) took to it immediately. She rarely sleeps on her bed but is on this all the time. Has even attempted to 'make' the bed, and we've had no issues with the material or the gel. Had it almost a month now, and still as good as new after continuous use. Definitely recommend this product.

Seems that be well made and our lab spends a lot of time on it. It’s quite heavy so he can’t easily drag it around like he does his regular bed. Easy to keep clean with a quick wipe.
