Character development is wonderful. I have read almost all of their romantic fantasy series and they never let us down. I like how the characters always go from one book to the next and how the series intertwine with each other.

Finally! The last book of the Darkmore Penitentiary series has arrived. It’s been a long and painful wait after that brutal cliffhanger from the previous book. With these authors, you know they are really good at bringing the pain before delivering a well deserved happy ending. And we most definitely get a satisfying ending to this series. Picking up where the last book left off, bad things have happened. Rosalie’s one goal coming to Darkmore was to get Roary out. And she failed. And now his fate is probably worse after what was done to him. But she won’t give up. She will not let him go. She will find him and she won’t be alone. Ethan and Sin are by her side. Their love for her stronger than ever. And then there is Mason. He may still be working through everything that has happened and what Rosalie is to him, but deep down he knows he is hers. And these guys together know that what they have won’t be complete until Roary is back. We get a lot of nice surprises in this one! Including some familiar faces pop up (named and unnamed) for those who have read all of books in this world so far. If you are like me, you will love those. I love how far Rosalie, Roary, Ethan, Sin, and Mason have come and their dynamics together. This was just a really solid end to this series. And I couldn’t put it down! It was definitely worth the long wait to get to this point.

Caroline and Susanne, our beloved Twisted Sisters, know how to end a series with an absolute bang. This series finale was 1000% worth that painful slowburn wait, I assure you!This conclusion novel was packed full of nonstop action, tension, steam, humor, and angst. Without diving into spoilers, I will say the sisters truly did an absolute justice to these characters and you will squeal with delight at the Easter eggs and absolute unhinged shenanigans we encounter.There truly was never a dull moment. This book kept pace and held my attention the entire time. Rosa is such an amazing FMC, and her men are all so very special and unique. I loved the lead up to the big climax. The ending was perfect and the epilogue chapters will always be some of my very favorites.Also their books are one of the few that can make me laugh in one sentence, then cry the next when I read their dedication/author note pages. 💀Truly, this book slapped. I’ll never, ever think of potatoes the same way ever again. And I’m not mad about it. 🙂‍↕️

Love this world, love this book and the whole series! Wish it would never end!

I was so lucky to win this ARC. Honestly I didn’t expect anything less this book was amazing. Now I wasn’t one of the ones who had to wait the painful years for this book since I saved it until ZA was completed. THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING. The last books of their series are always my favorite, and this was no exception. While this will be completely spoiler free. I love this book and these characters. I’ll update in a few weeks with more spoiler-y details. Can’t wait for the audio to come out to re-listen!! Thank you sisters 🫶🏼

The queens have outdone themselves again!! The way this series has been leading up to this final book only for it to surpass my expectations 🔥🔥. This is now a complete why choose series that I cannot recommend enough. You’ll laugh your little tush off, cry the biggest tears and feel all the tingles (especially in the last book). I cannot wait to reread on audio!

I read all the connecting series, the other 2 were better in my opinion but these books were still good and the spice is on point !

The Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac, Zodiac Academy and now Darkmore Penitentiary will forever hold a very special place in my heart.These authors as always did an incredible job weaving the various series together. This entire series was a rollercoaster of emotions, I love how I’m still gasping with their crazy plot twists and screaming “I knew it!!!” to my cats. The twisted sisters have written the perfect conclusion to a 23 book series filled with nonstop action, drama, tension, humour and of course steam. The epilogue chapters were just the cherry on top!
