Airplane!

Had to rewatch this, as I've just finished the book which was a great read with a lot of laughs. The book also explained some of the jokes that I hadn't thought were funny because the references were a little before my time.Regardless, the movie holds up over 40 years later! You will also be surprised at how many of the jokes became and intrinsic part of modern culture (Don't call me Shirley!).

Classic Leslie Nielson, a favorite movie when I was young. June Cleaver talking jive, the flight attendant and sexy time autopilot, the days to quit what ails you and turkish prison jokes- 5 out of 5, more like 10 out of 5. Tho movie is great and should be required viewing.Watch it be offended, be amused, be entertained- just watch this movie it’s better than a rating scale, and funnier than any comedy movie in the current releases.

Why pay to stream when you can own a classic.

Rented this movie to show my teenage son. He laughed quite a bit. This movie has proved that slap stick humor will always be funny to every generation.

Ésta es una película sumamente visionaria porque inventó la comedia y la parodia absurdista. Muchos de los chistes (Don't call me Shirley) se pierden si uno pone subtítulos, así que sugiero encarecidamente que pongan los subtítulos en inglés. Todas las películas que la han imitado son inferiores a ésta. Además, es interesante ver cómo era viajar en avión antes: era mucho más un lujo, pero más cómodo y menos apretado y menos trabajoso que hoy en día.
