White plug-in LED Light Fixture with 2x 4ft Energy Efficient LED tubes. Perfect for garage, workbench, warehouse etc.

I needed a light over my Torit workbench. My workbench has a hood designed for a light and I needed something that would fit. This light looked like it would work so I took a chance. As expected, I had to make some slight modifications to mount it.I disassembled the light fixture as the metal cover had to be removed for fastener access. The lamps themselves are quite heavy and appear to be well made but the sheet metal housing is very thin and bends easily, either by intent or accident. On the plus side, it's very easy to drill holes into the housing :).The fixture was packed fairly well but arrived with bent metal corners. As it was going to be hidden inside the hood, the corners didn't matter. The screws and hardware used to assemble this fixture are small diameter and very cheap quality. The ground screw quickly stripped its hole when I was reassembling it. That didn't matter, as I had to replace some of the fasteners with 8-32 machine screws and star washers anyway. I needed the longer, heavier fasteners to mount it flush underneath the workbench hood.This light fit my application perfectly and produces an instant, extremely bright light. The light is recessed under my workbench, so it's flimsy construction is not evident - all you can see is the brilliant white light when it's turned on.As noted in other reviews, there is no inline switch on the cord or a pull chain. I plugged the power cord into a GE 52149 Handy Switch inserted in my workbench electrical power strip, which works well.Overall, I am happy with this product but for the price it would have been nice if Exetik Systems had used better hardware, and included a power switch option. Time will tell if is durable or not.

there are really nice, for the price, was kind of expensive, but if you at what some of dealers have, your talking a few hundred dollars for a fixture like this. I have plenty 4ft CFLs in my shop and sometimes they interfere with my Ham Radio causing noise on some frequencies. If these LED got cheaper I would replace all my CFLs Would have been nice if it had a pull on/off switch,

The major cost of manufacture is obviously the tubes themselves, so don't expect a high level fixture.Mine arrived just before I was starting to paint the garage, so I used them (laying on the floor) while I painted the ceiling and walls. Doing this, I tripped over and kicked them around a bit. They survived this rough treatment without issue. The tubes are plastic.For years, I have used 7 - 4' fluorescent in 900 sq feet. I replaced two of my old lights with these LED.Only time will tell if they are worth the higher cost, but I do love the bright white and the instant start.

This LED fixture provides much brighter, whiter light than the flourescent fixture it replaced. I really like it! I bought two of these fixtures and one of the LED tubes in one of the fixtures died after several months. These LED tubes should last many, many years, so I'm disappointed with them.!

I never used a LED light before and I must say I am satisfied with this product. During the day you really can't even notice the light, butat night there is plenty of light in the shop. My little shop is 34x24 ft. and I'm using 3 of these lights and am happy with them. I wired in plug-in receptacle's so if there's a problem, I can just unplug and replace....They seem good, so I would recommend them....

After three years already one of the led tube's has failed. Far from the 50000 hours it claims.

Received the fixture promptly. One of the bulbs was dead on arrival. Contacted seller and got a quick replacement. I was very happy with the LED fixture at this point. The light was very bright and sunny until another one of the bulbs stopped working after about a month. One of the selling points is that you have bulbs that don't need changing for years. Obviously, these are a poorly manufactured item and they need to work on better quality control. What a waste of money -I'm putting it in the trash.

I don't think this is led. The light is very bright but doesn't have a switch to turn in on and off.
