ESV Concise Study Bible(tm) (Trutone, Brown)

I've gone through several bibles over the years, each one was a gift, and each one has been a different translation. This is my first ESV. Although it is still early days with this translation, I know I'm going to have a very long relationship with it.

I’ve compared this one to my ESV study Bible. The notes are very similar, and the Concise Study Bible even has some notes that the full size doesn’t have. This would be a great carry-size substitute for the ESV Study Bible (its full-size version that weighs 50 pounds). I will say that the text is smaller than your average Bible. Take this as you will. I will say it’s a great option for a student in college of high school. It’s a very foundational study Bible.Grace and Peace

The Good:1) This Bible is beautiful in its design, as well as a small form factor but manages to pack every single page in.2) It gives great insight into what verses can mean or to tell you context of what it means.The Bad:1) It's not inherently bad per se, the pages are extremely thin so you have to be careful when changing pages, you will also likely flip through multiple pages without meaning to.
