Nice
I like to use sea salt sometimes. This one works great with my grinder, no issues.

Salty, not iodized
It's much saltier than regular table salt, without the high sodium numbers so you don't need to use a lot to get the most flavor. Very tasty and flavorful. I personally use this to mix into foods rather than sprinkle it as a finishing salt, but it's great for that as well. Overall happy with it even though I keep forgetting to use this over our other salt.

Unique flavorful salt!
This is salt, but not just salty salt (lol). It is medium to large grain salt. It has a very unique, crisp and clean flavor, and in my opinion, it has very subtle sweetness. It is loaded with minerals so it must be the minerals that gives this unique flavorful taste.I used it for my salad last night - I put it in salt grinder and ground it on salad and mixed it with oil and pepper. It was a simple salad but Baja salt enhanced the salad flavor a lot more than pink salt that I usually use. It’s like umami salt. I loved the salad and my family loved it too! I am very excited to try it in other dishes!

Very nice!
This is a small bag of high quality sea salt (coarse grain). Seems to mix in whatever you're cooking very well, only a pinch seems to be needed. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love Baja Sea Salt
Absolutely love Baja Sea salt. The coarse grain sea salt is just as delicious as their other products. Full of minerals and clean tasting. Able to be used straight out of the resealable bag or put through a grinder. I definitely love flavoring dishes with the salt both coarse and ground.

Large sale with a good flavor.
If you want this for regular table use, you definitely need a salt grinder as these are quite large and irregular crystals. I do find it interesting that no where on the packaging is the source of this salt...yes the listing says it is sourced from Baja but normally on the packaging you will list that as well...instead there is a website that when you go to is simply for e-commerce and not the actual SaltCraft Co. as you would expect. There is an expiration date in 2028. I like that it comes in a resealable bag since I can't fathom using this all in one go. This says it is low sodium...so a little will go a long way as this is a salty salt, if that makes sense. This is not like some of the more specialty salts that you get faint traces of flavors...it's an in your face salt.

grinds well and doesn't gum up like some salts. Has a nice taste profile.

Culinary delight
A few years ago I started learning to cook and effortlessly switched from table salt to sea salt. It makes such a difference in the way everything tastes. I love that this is from the coast and comes in a bag that's not too big or too small. Mostly used for its visual appeal, this coarse grain sea salt was perfect for my soft baked pretzels. Can't wait to use it for salted caramel.

Great flavour, quality course grain low sodium sea salt! Great for seafood and seasoning rubs!
I love this salt when cooking seafood, being sea salt…it’s a natural pairing! The flavour has the fresh sea salt savoury flavour that enhances food. Living by the ocean and having access to fresh fish regularly, using a natural sea salt for cooking is perfect. The crystals are large and opaque in colour, almost clear. As a retired chef, I have used this to create a seasoning blend rub for fish, ribs and roasts. The flavour of the salt adds a depth to the rub while using just a small amount when compared to its table salt cousin that requires significantly more. My best recipe so far has been to use it in a seasoning crust for fresh halibut.

Expensive
Believe it or not, I have looked for coarse grain salt in the supermarkets and could not find any. I wanted to try a salt grinder and try some coarse salt grains for special food items. I was happy to find one here, and the taste seems good, but I doubt it is worth the price. This 8oz/227gr pack had a price of $13 CAD at the time of writing.Although I said the taste seemed good, that depends on how and where you use it. If you put it into what you are cooking, there is no point of using coarse salt grains. They will just dissolve and you wouldn't feel much of a taste difference. If you use it to cover the rim of a margarita glass, that's where the coarse grains make their show. Or if you use it in a manner that will not have it dissolve, such as on a leafy salad, then the grains and their taste will make their note.Overall, I like it, and I can recommend it, but only if you don't mind the price. I think the price is the only obstacle for a more common use, but I would still pay that price for the rims of my margarita glass.

Baja Sea Salt
This is coarse grain crystal premium salt from the California Baja Coast in USA and this one in particular has low sodium and is good for cooking. I do find it to be quite small of a pack considering the price but the package also looks nice and like it's high quality. I just fill my autoamtic salt grinder with this and it grinds pretty well and it does taste a little different if you really concentrate. It seems fresh as well. But on a daily basis, I'm not sure how much of a difference this will make in your diet as I don't think you always need that much salt all the time. And with that, if you don't use salt a lot, this might be worth it as it could last you quite a while too. I personally do prefer premium and organic, clean products in my home so it's nice to give it a try. But I may need to use this for longer to see if there's an overall difference.

Large coarse crystals great for desserts
Each grain of crystal is nice and large, the perfect size you'd expect to see on a fancy chocolate truffle. While not as salty as table salt, it's still plenty salty. For most food, for example finishing a steak, you'll want to use a grinder to get the right size, or look for some flakey salt instead. For normal consumption though, using regular table salt is fine. The taste difference is very minute. And the mineral content difference between types of salt is very small too, so there won't be much of a difference nutrition wise either. So at the end of the day, just look for whatever form factor makes sense for your dish.

Baja Sea Salt
I recently tried the SaltCraft Co - Baja Sea Salt and I'm really impressed. The coarse grain crystals are perfect for adding a burst of flavor to my dishes, whether I'm cooking or just finishing a meal. I appreciate that it’s low sodium, which is a big plus for maintaining a healthy diet without sacrificing taste. The fact that it's kosher certified and non-GMO adds to my confidence in its quality. I use it not just for cooking, but also to help with hydration—it's great in a pinch of water after a workout. The 8-ounce package is perfect for my needs, and I love that it's a natural mineral salt. Overall, this sea salt has become a staple in my kitchen!
