Delicious morning coffee
I recently tried this coffee and really enjoyed it. The blend of hazelnuts, caramel, and liquorice creates a rich and satisfying flavor. The finely ground format is convenient and perfect for easy brewing. It’s fully caffeinated, so it’s great for starting the day or a midday boost. I appreciate the eco-friendly and fair trade focus, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience.

Lovely rich coffee
Used to make pour-over coffee.I'm hardly a coffee expert, but this tasted very good to me. Good rich taste, quite intense but not super strong, no unpleasant aftertaste like I've had with some other coffees. I cannot taste the hazelnut or caramel notes but that's on me, not on the coffee - I always struggle to pick out taste notes in coffee. At £15.99 for 400g (so around £4/100g) it's a fair bit more expensive than ground coffee you might find at a supermarket. Whether you would find that worth it, I can't tell you; but taste-wise, I would recommend this.

Yummy filter coffee!
Used with a traditional filter & poured water over. Really captured a good coffee flavour & made a great morning cuppa. Very flavourful & honestly a coffee which has a nice, deep flavour!Very happy & will be trying their other offerings if they’re to the same standard :)

Great tasting ground coffee
Great tasting, strong coffee perfect for use in cafetière/french press. I do not let it brew fir more than 5 mins as it can cause coffee to taste bitter

Lovely strong blend
You get 2 x 200g packs and the recommended amount per cup is 15g, meaning there is just over 13 cups per 200g bag using those amounts. The bags are resealable and opaque, so if you don't have a coffee container all you would need to store them correctly is the bag they arrived in and a cool area. The bags that I recieved both have ten months left until the best before date, and were roasted less than a month prior to their arrival.I usually buy coffee beans as we have a bean to cup machine, but as this is ground coffee I've been using a french press, I've followed the directions and not added boiling water, and it worked perfectly. As I don't drink black coffee I did add steamed milk and the combination was genuinely delicious. Taste wise I was looking for the hazlenut, caramel and liquorice flavours that were suggested on the pack, obviously my taste buds aren't that fine tuned, but there is definitely a slightly sweet and very nutty flavour, I didn't detect any liquorice sadly, but I'll keep looking for it as I finish the bags.Overall its a really lovely coffee, with informative packaging that is easy to seal, the coffee tastes and smells delicious, and I'm very happy to recommend it.

Lovely rich arabica coffee
Roasted on the darker side of medium this Brazilian Coffee had a nice even grind size. The grind was a touch course for pour-over (although still produced a decent cup) but perfect for cafetière.Taste wise I won’t go all fancy other than to say it had a good body, slight sweetness and definitely a hint of the liquorice mentioned in the listing. Some of the more subtle Brazilian flavours seem a bit lost from the darker roast, but roast level will always be personal preference.Nice to see a roast date and the batch supplied to me had been roasted within the last month. No hesitation in recommending this as one to try.

Ooh, I’m pleasantly impressed with this coffee, and I’m always excited to try new blends, with new manufacturers. As a lover of dark roast, rich, bold and super strong coffee, I was a little apprehensive at first sip, expecting this to be a little weak or far too sweet for my taste buds…I'm pretty sure, 40+ years of pure black strong coffee, will take some weaning off... just sayin.Anyway, moving forward, this coffee is actually VERY nice!Mild bodied, smooth and well-balanced, I think I could get a real taste for this blend, but, as an afternoon treat. As nice as this is, I need something a whole lot stronger for my mornings. What you get here is a medium mild and mellow – bodied beverage with sweet acidity, muting the intensity to provide a clean, flavourful mouth feel with an exciting blend of lovely ingredients. This coffee offers a flavoursome, and natural taste that I believe could be one of a kind here.If you are a coffee lover that appreciates the natural essence of a full flavoursome but sweet coffee, then look no further, Morning Dog Coffee” could be the solution.Delivering an enriching essence, this coffee fusion dives into a balanced and smooth palate with delightful notes of rich hazelnut and caramel, and a tiny hint of liquorice, enchanting your senses with every sip.Morning Dog coffee is NOT just a coffee, this is moderately rich in sweet flavour, counteracting against the mundane, offering a touch of whimsy to your normal routine.I like this coffee, a lot… For me this is an afternoon blend, the taste is unique and exciting, although, not quite strong enough for my morning blend. However, I’m taking nothing away from this Coffee.“Fancy Schmancy” … possibly? This is a lovely coffee for entertaining guests,It carries a rich profile of flavours, it embraces the palate with a sweet touch from the first sip, adding no less than pure distinction to this drink. To conclude, this coffee is full of sweetness, complexity and an intense but pleasurable flavour of rich hazelnut and caramel…the flavours dance inside your cup, thus accommodating any refined palate of coffee lover!I’m delighted with this coffee, and I thank you for allowing me to embark on this flavourful journey where every coffee sip has transported me to a realm of playful indulgence. What you get is the best of both worlds here… This is a delightful coffee drink to come home to after a long day at work, or alternatively a loving hug and relaxing beverage after dinner as a dessert coffee. However, and whenever you choose to partake in “Morning Dog Coffee” you won’t be disappointed.I highly recommend this flavoursome blend, and I will be sure to look out for other flavours from "Morning Dog Coffee" Thank you.As an afterthought, I can't comment on value for money here, as a visible price cannot be seen on any of the pages relating to this product.
