the oil in it isn't mixed so well all the time i have to mix it the n the mixing part is so annoying although everything is good

At first I was afraid that for 430rs I can't get good quality. But this is amazing I am beginner at watercolor and this is the output I got. Really happy with camel watercolor

Delivery : Was fast but even when ordered within last 25 mins of time window, immediately it was downgraded to 2 day delivery instead of 1-day delivery. Packaging should seriously be improved, it was only slipped into the Amazon packing bag. This added to the loose packing done by Camel themselves which makes all the tubes move within the closed box. (See attached pic after unboxing the package)Quality : (see attached pic for vibrant color swatches)1] Paint quality seems to have improved quite a lot & definitely more vibrant than the cake/pan form.2] Colors in some tubes did come out suddenly after/during opening but it can be controlled by piercing the paint layer with a needle.3] Some tubes had tiny bit of gum arabic /binder oozing out initially but it went away after squeezing.4] Quality of the paints has improved quite a lot and price point is very affordable.This set includes a good selection of red/blue/yellow but wish it had a violet/magenta.Quality of tubes could be improved to make it more air tight since 3 of them had bit of paint in the threads.Conclusion : For Rs. 390/- set of 24 Eco- Artist quality paints is really great.The 5ml quantity can fill half pans for about 2-3 times.I wish the color selection would have been available in additional combinations (maybe as separate sets for particular type of painting like portraits/landscape, etc) since camlin makes 47-48 colors in all.

I'm not an artist. Just love to play with colours in my leisure. And for my purpose professional watercolors like Winsor and Newton, Sennelier are not affordable. So I was searching for a pocket friendly watercolor set with good color quality. And in this price range Camel Artist Watercolor is best. Bright colours and highly pigmented. Received the package in good condition.

The quality is good . But most colours are pretty same like a shade or two lighter or darker , it is absolutely not needed and missing some normal colors like violet. It's might be good for professionals who have the knowledge to mix and make different colors by their own.

This review is for the Kokuyo Camlin 24 set 5ml watercolor tubes. This is the third time I purchased this product. These watercolors are absolutely lovely and I am so pleased with the price point. The first time I purchased these watercolors I payed double the price. I have a lot of watercolor brands (student and professional) made in the US and abroad, and this is among my top favorites. They mix very well, do not get muddy and conforms to ASTM D 4236 and are Non-toxic. The Yellow Ochre and Raw Sienna are very close in color which was odd, and they do have a strong chemical smell when first pored from the tubes, which I can understand would turn a lot of people off. However in my opinion, these paints perform nicer dried in a palette and after several days, the smell does dissipate. The tubes in this set have a lightfast rating of A and B ( A-Absolutely Permanent, B-Permanent). I have read many reviews that have glowing remarks on their lightfastness. I personally have never did a lightfast test on this set. There is no pigment information on these watercolors. I believe that they have a total of 48 colors in their line, and offer larger 20ml sized tubes. I would be extremely interested in purchasing and trying more colors. I have not been able to find open stock anywhere. Maybe they will be offered on Amazon in the future. If you are looking for a very nice inexpensive watercolor and you are a beginner, student or professional, regardless of the smell, these are definitely worth it. They are very enjoyable to paint with.

I have been teaching myself how to paint in watercolor when I found this brand on YouTube. This Camel paint brand has a good color development for beginners and is well priced for the quality you get. I liked it so much I bought 12 additional colors from this company. If there is a downside, it's probably the somewhat pungent crayon smell you get when you first squeeze out the paint to mix it, but the quality more than makes up for it.

Has a slight smell but doable. Put them in a pallet and let them dry they work much better and the smell goes away. The colors are beautiful and mix well. Will be getting more

I took these paints to the rocky mountains to paint our campsite. They did not disappoint. I was able to mix an abundance of greens and browns. For the price, these are very nice reliable paints. I will definitely purchase again.

The pigment wasn’t great. The amount of watercolor in each box is an illusion.
