Works really well

We have small things around the house that can benefit from an ultrasonic cleaner, jewelry, shaver blades, etc. Cleaning your frequently use items keeps them clean & makes them last longer. I decided to give this ultrasonic cleaner a try.This arrived and was much smaller than what I imagined it would be. What you get is the cleaner, a double-sided brush, plastic tweezers and the manual. The manual says to not use water warmer than 86F. To test this, I put a couple drops of dish soap and ran warm/hot tap water to the fill line. I dropped in the heads of my shavers in and ran a 5-minute cycle. The machine isn’t super noisy, but it does run in that frequency where you might not want to be in the same room while it’s running, just the nature of how ultrasonics work. The machine has 5- 8- & 10-minute cycles.The two shaver heads came out relatively clean. The remainder was cleaned using the included brush. I can’t say for certain whether it was the warm soapy water and a 5-minute soak, or if the ultrasonic vibrations helped. For lighter duty objects such as jewelry, dentures, shavers, etc. this will fit that need very nicely.

I truly don’t know the science behind the vibration and frequency level for cleaning, but I do know it works. My sons’ retainer came out sparking clean in 10 minutes. My wife’s TMJ aligners are pretty worn down and the cleaner did a fantastic in a 10 minute time span.I’m truly amazed at how easy, quick and portable this machine cleans. It’s as easy as adding water to the indicated level, placing the dental device in for 5, 8, or 10 minutes by simply tapping a button. If you’d like extensive cleaning, you can add your own polishing tablet. The machine starts and stops on its own. When it finishes, unplug drain out the water and wipe it clean with a towel.It is well worth the investment. I’ll update this post regarding durability but as of now, this little invention is highly recommended for a next level cleaning experience.

I recently started using a nighttime mouth guard to protect my teeth from grinding. The dentist recommended cleaning every night and a deep cleaning whenever I came in.I pretty much just rinsed it from time to time, but it might smell if I didn't do it often enough.This ultrasonic cleaning machine makes that routine so much easier. I fill up the cleaner with water to the fill line, drop in my mouth guard and it's done cleaning in 5 minutes. It comes with a cleaning brush and tweezers.So far, I've had no issues with cleanliness. My mouth guard doesn't smell at all, and the machine is easy to clean.My only small issue is that I'm not sure why the power plug is on the right side of the machine and not the back. It's a weird design and if it had been in the back, I might be able to justify having this on the counter all the time, but because it encroaches my wife's space, I keep it under the drawer and pull it out only when I need to use it.

This is my second device that cleans dental devices. It was easy to operate and did a good job cleaning my dental appliance. It works as good as my other device. I would love to purchase the Dental Pod to see if it does a better job cleaning dental appliances. The Dental pod is supposed to be the gold standard and it significantly more expensive than this device.I am impressed with this device, but I don't have a reference point. This seems fine. It cleaned my retainer just fine. It is easy to use. I don't know how long it will hold up because I have only used this a couple of times.The 45kHZ is the same frequency that is used for the professional equipment in dental offices. It would be great if it really did operate at that frequency. Unfortunately, I have no way to confirm the actual frequency of this device. At any rate, I am satisfied using this device to clean my retainer in conjunction with a retainer cleansing tablet once weekly. I am not sure how effective it is without the retainer tablet as I only used it with the tablet.

Had great expectations for this as it worked flawlessly for roughly 2.5 months, then this morning will not turn on.

This ultrasonic cleaner with UV light is useful for cleaning my dental appliance. The unit’s power cord has its own self-contained voltage adapter, unlike so many devices that use a USB cord these days.The case is rather large, with a reservoir that’s more than adequate in size, and a mirrored flip-up lid. That mirror becomes somewhat transparent during use, if the room is dark enough. The UV light shuts off if the lid is lifted during use.Cycle time can be selected at 5, 8, or 10 minutes. It’s simple to use, just press the power button repeatedly until the desired time is displayed. The unit is very quiet in use, and I had to get right down next to it to confirm it was actually running.It seems to be doing a good job of cleaning.

I used this to clean my retainers that have a bit of build-up and this didn't do anything to make them appear cleaner. The instructions indicate you can use detergent or another cleaning agent so I added Efferdent to the water and ran it twice on the 10 minute setting. Fyi, I did wait 20 minutes between cleaning so they could soak. If this was effective I certainly can't see it. The best features about this are its compact size, ease of use and that it's quiet but t I'm not a fan otherwise.
