Cutting Board, 3 Piece Set, Woodworker's Classic American Walnut, Cherry, and Maple Hardwood Butcher Block

These hold up to any smaller task. I have had a set for more than a year, and these are so easy to use I bought a second set. So far, no cracking or splitting and only need minimal oiling. They hold up nicely against knife cuts and chopping blades. Plus, my knives aren’t needing as much sharpening lately. A definite must for smaller kitchens.

I already own the magnetic knife holder by this seller, which I love since it's very aesthetically pleasing and the magnets are recessed so they don't scratch your knives like other holders do, so I was interested in his cutting boards as well. I ordered the largest size and was really please by the looks of the board when it was delivered. Nice, solid hard wood with good weight to it so it stays put while cutting. The joining is done really well, the only way you know that this is multiple piece of wood jointed together is the color differences, you can't feel the seams at all.But the thing I actually like most about this cutting board is the geometry. Standard cutting board are a little more square, but more rectangular shape of this one keeps the board compact while still letting you cut longer items without them hanging off the board. For someone with a small kitchen such as myself, this is a really nice design point. I also like the bevelled edges which makes the board much more hand friendly while using it. Very pleased with the purchase overall and would recommend it to friends for a holiday gift idea.

You need the warmth, inspiration, beauty and loveliness of these Alden made butcher block boards. I’ve never met anyone who regrets buying a work of art like this - not a soul!

I bought the edge grain cutting board, (Size 8" x 14" x 1") five years ago and have used it nearly daily ever since. It has held up without any wood separation ever since. The only wear and tear comes from the knife marks left over the years. I clean it religiously after each use and oil it as needed. Most of my use is for vegetables because I rarely eat meat.

These cutting boards are absolutely gorgeous. They are very sturdy and well made. They even come with instructions on how to properly maintain them for those of us new to butcher block cutting boards.

I LOVE this cutting board. I'd make some changes to it if I were designing it. Making it larger, adding a juice groove on one side, adding some handles of some form. That said, it's been an incredible cutting board and I use it constantly. It's easy on my knives and it's very easy to clean.

After a month or so of use, I'm well satisfied with this board. It performs as expected. The quality of such a board is in its longevity; I have no reason but to expect it to prove its worth.I got the smallest (8" x 14"), but wish I had gotten the medium size (12" x 14") instead.

This isn't just a cutting board - it is a handmade work of art. The three species of laminated wood and the workmanship make it a great addition to the knife bar and rack I also purchased from Jonathan Alden products. All Jonathan Alden products have been awesome. This is my second (smaller) board and this board size is great to move around wherever the project calls for. Looks great!Even the Jonathan Alden packaging is well thought out!
