More than just a bean, they are a delicious candy coated peanut from the USA. The Boston Baked Bean is a generic name used throughout the candy industry for sugar coated peanuts. Ferrara Pan developed their world- famous Boston Baked Beans in the early 1930s and Ferrara Pan has risen above the competition earning world-wide recognition. Many consider Ferrara Pan to make the highest quality and best tasting sugar coated peanuts in the world. They are made using a cold pan process whereby fresh peanuts are mixed in a revolving pan with other candy ingredients.
