Excellent moist heat for restyling wigs
This works non-damagingly and perfectly for making my wigs look more natural, I can recurl or straighten them if needed or wanted. Y'all know that wigs are never perfect from the get go, they have to be tweaked and played with to get the best out of them. You can make even the cheapest or oldest wig look good! You can find lots of tutorials on Youtube for re-styling, GlamFam is the best.I'm sure it would also be perfect for getting wrinkles out of clothes as well lol Wonderful for pure silk as the heat is moist, not drying to the fibres. The steam is just about the right output for both jobs.

You get what you pay for - not amazing but does the job if you have patience
Not amazing. I read the reviews so knew what to expect. I didn't want to spend too much as I'm a student and all other products on here up to about £40 seemed to have similar reviews despite them being more expensive so I thought I may as well just buy this one. Gets out some of the creases on thick cotton shirts. works well on silk and thinner fabrics (mainly what i bought it for). As mentioned by others, the water compartment is really small so it only has enough to steam 2 shirts well, so its better to use this as you need the items. You'd be there all day if you wanted to steam a whole wash of clothes. As for the splashes of hot water, its usually ok as long as you keep the device perfectly up right.

Great for Braids
I bought this to seal Braids with and it works brilliantly, my only gripe is when you have filled it up even filling below the max level it spits and using in close proximity to my head It burns my arms and legs when it spits everywhere, sometimes this doesnt happen and im not sure what im doing wrong but I have found you need to point it slightly upwards and keep it level Or the hot water runs on my hands, but saying that most of the time it runs fine and tightens my twists up a treat. the only other thing i would change about it would be to have a larger tank as im constantly refilling it but this is so much easier than dipping the hair in boiling hot water 3 and 4 times and the braids turn out so much neater. regarding what it is meant for I hate ironing and this is handy for sprucing up wrinkles in clothes ive used it on a few garments and it works really well so this is a very handy tool indeed! Ive taken a star off because it really hurts when i spits on me :( but overall im a very happy customer :)

Worth buying does exactly what its ment to.
Before buying this product I was not too sure due to the bad feedback that it had. But I thought as it's so cheap it's worth giving it a try.And I'm glad I did.PROS-200ml water tankMost of this portable steamers have less than half of its capacity-Power of 800w of powerMake sure before you compare to others which has less power-Does exactly what it's ment toI have read reviews saying it leaks... it gets clothes wet... etc...OK this is a steamer guys, it has steam which we all know its caused by it boiling the water in the tank.So there for if you place it too forward you will cause the boiling water to come up and out with the steam. Also this water is only a small portion of water that will dry very quickly or that you could simply dry with a but of cold air from a hairdryer. As long as you keep your steamer clean with anti-scaler every 3/4 months that water will not leave a mark as it's only water.-Very quick to heat up (around 15 seconds)-Only prime from £29.99 original price to £14.99. Super deal.CONSNone really it does exactly what it's ment toAs an overall this is a good portable steamer of a generous capacity.I have used to to steam my vinyl photography backdrops and I have been impressed with how quick it heats up and how much area I actually get to steam with it.I have also used to do a quick pass on all those delicate tops I have from Next which you can not iron and it has left them all looking as they have just come out from the dry cleaners.Note;I would not change my ironing press or normal iron for this steamer but there again who would? If you want to iron your shirt or your bedding use a press or an iron. This steamer is supposed to be for all those garments were an iron would burn even at its lower settings and maybe to freshen up that shirt that you have already ironed but due to be hanging it has creased a little here and there.I have vertical blinds at home so I am not 100% sure but as this steamer has helped me steam photography backdrops I am guessing it would also help with curtains etc.I must also add I have NOT received this product for free in exchange for a review. This is my honest review. If you use this steamer for what it's ment to is actually a very good portable steamer at a very cheap price.Would I buy this product again?Yes

Works fine once or twice then just shuts down - avoid purchase
I purchased this item less than a year ago and have only used this three times due to it being for travel and not every day purchase. As per many of the reviews on here, it began perfectly, but soon started spitting water out of the mouth. The ‘on button’ then flashed violently and the whole thing shut down. It now turns on but does nothing, the water does not heat and no steam emits, no matter how long I leave it to warm up. I followed the instructions to the dot, and did not over or under fill. I feel that it is unacceptable for a company to still be allowed to sell a product that is clearly not fit for purpose and when mixing water and electricity, is potentially incredibly dangerous. As it does not fit the description it markets itself as, I feel this is against the trade descriptions act and I will be reporting this and directing them to the other supporting reviews. It is a shame that I have been unable to contact the seller directly to discuss the issue, before leaving a negative review. If I had bought this from a shop I would have taken it in to return it, I do not expect an item to break within a year of purchase after absolute minimal use. Maybe the company will see all of the negative reviews and try to improve the item. I would suggest avoiding this product and paying a couple of quid more for a slightly more substantial one. The thing I feel worst about is when i first got it, I thought it was so good I recommended it to a friend who purchased it and has also had the same experience.
