I wanted a bit oversized pad for my 5" random orbital sander. It works great!
The backing pad is firm enough to keep the Buffer cloth in place. The elastic band on the cloth wraps around the support pad where I just attached my hook/loop sander right to the back of the support pad and the overlapped cloth with no problems of it shifting on my sander.

Flawed
The media could not be loaded. Super flawed. It's a really good concept but it dosent work like it should when the bonnet goes over it won't stick and if you put bonnet on while the pad already on the sander it prevents sander from spinning. It would be better if backing pad was thicker. Also prevents the Sander from spinning.

Do not recommend. The cover kept flying off the buffer when using. Also the material is not the best.
