Works great. After normal plungers and chemicals would not work- this worked !

I ordered this when my toilet was not clogged. The potential was there. Why not make the toilet clog blasting fun? To explain- I blindly followed my Dr.s instructions and began a medication that was known to cause intestinal slowing and severe constipation. I also decided to stop smoking at the same time. The perfect storm for a massive evacuation the likes of which was horrific. I didn't for one minute consider changing medications or start smoking but knew I should be prepared for an event the toilet would not be able to move on its own. I knew plunging alone would not be enough if this took place. Then I saw this device.Does it work? Yes. But, there are things you should understand. The instructions could have been better. The head of the piece was difficult to apply. I finally gave up attempting to get the screw ring to stay on the head of the piece. I handed the whole thing to my husband and asked him to make it work. He did. It is like a squeezing motion to make sure the ring gets screwed down tight, holding the piece in place firmly. Definitely play around with this when you are not needing to use it. Make a plan. The device needs to be placed in a position so you can pump up the pressure much like an old school bicycle tire inflator. You are able to watch the gauge to see how much pressure has been built up. When using, make sure to fit the end securely in the toilet hole. Again, I repeat, practice with a clean and unclogged commode. You will thank me later. Plan for how to clean the plunger if you need to air it up for a second blast. Don't be stuck holding a poo water stick with no place to set it. Decide whether you want to keep gloves with it. I will definitely be making a little emergency go kit with it because ewww. Know when blasting/plunging is appropriate and when other methods of unclogging are better options. I deducted a star for two reasons-difficulty of placing the screw ring thing without great instructions and because it is difficult to sanitize. Finally, where and how do you store this thing?

It won't even build up pressure and the head attachments are flimsy junk.

The media could not be loaded. This is an astounding, cleverly-designed and powerful drain clearer. The kit includes fittings to work with just about any type of household drain. Clear instructions are provided and I was amazed at the impressive, clog busting pressure this device can deliver. The materials used are solid and durable and work superbly. This unit works so much better and cleaner than the traditional plunger and all but eliminates icky splashing. To pressurize the unit requires you to use the basic tire pump mechanism and then attach the appropriate drain fitment. This may cost more than a common plunger but it is well worth every penny because it works exceptionally well and will outlast inexpensive plungers.

Does its job once you get it all set up .

This plunger has a great design, and really does have high pressure. I just don't think I would depend on it in an "emergency" situation.That being said, I tried it in all the drains, and the toilet, in my small apartment, and was pretty amazed that it increased the drainage flow, in all of them. So, basically, things like hair, paper, and other things were building, and it could have just been a matter of time before got a clog.It does take a lot of pumping/work to get to higher pressures, but it's pretty cool to have the gauge. If I do, however, get a clog where I would use an ordinary plunger, though, I will try it, on a higher pressure, and update my review. That's a catch-22, because I really don't want to, and am conscious enough not to, have that situation.

The high-pressure toilet plunger was disappointing. The instructions are super confusing. It doesn’t form a proper seal, so the pressure isn’t very effective. It also feels flimsy and can be messy with water splashing out. Not worth the extra cost. Don’t waste your money.

The science behind it seems legit. I like the idea of using a different method of plunging without a actual plunger. Hopefully when I need this there will be less splashing. This product does have some cool features like a pressure guage looking thin and some various attachments for blowing out drains. The quality of the product im bot the most sure about because it kibda feels like a lightweight kids plastic toy and we all know how easy those break. I hadn't used it yet but it is very simple to use and the instructions are easy enough a child could read it.
