Did a lot of research and bought this as a gift. Took all day for initial backup but that is understandable.Does incremental backups as advertised

I like that this is a small product that can be used with Apple, Android, or Windows products. The directions were initially confusing regarding the installation of the app. For Android, the app installs automatically upon inserting the USB stick. However, the directions state that it must be installed. This is true for Apple, but not Android. Once this was realized, the device quickly downloaded all photos and videos from my phone. I was getting a new phone and wanted to ensure I didn't lose any photos during the transfer process. I am very happy with this product, except that the directions need to be clearer.

Great back up device for photos. I use it to temporarily store phone photos so I can make immediate room on phone. Then I use the stick to go through photos at a later date. Now I don’t need to upgrade the size of my iCloud storage.I appreciate that it’s made with sturdy materials. Some sticks have too much plastic but not this one.The software is loaded on the stick so just plug it in and follow prompts.

I tried to use this storage as backup for photos on my phone. The first time it worked and got really hot in the process. However after it’s done, when I try to update it again, it shows up invalid. When it worked, it backs up pretty fast. The iPhone connector would not work with my case on. I need to take my case off to have it connect properly. Have not used it as usb yet. For my purpose of using it as a iPhone photo backup, it did not stand up to use.

I am very surprised by the price variation of these phone photo backup USB drives online. I don’t trust the really cheap ones with something as priceless as my personal photos! This one, on the other hand, is expensive, but is the real deal. It has a metal casing and is some really solid hardware. It has a 128GB capacity, which holds a lot of my pictures with room to spare!It’s also so incredibly easy to use, almost a no-brainer, although it comes with a great instruction manual if needed. I just downloaded the free iStore Pro app onto my devices, plugged the USB-C end directly into my phone, and downloaded all my pictures onto the backup drive. Then I plugged the USB-A end into my computer and automatically downloaded them all to create my backup.I can do the same thing to transfer my pictures from my phone to my iPad and vice-versa. I can also delete pictures from any of my devices once they are backed up to make room for more. When I do take more pictures and back them up, it will only back up what is new, it doesn’t create duplicates of any pictures I had previously backed up.This photo backup drive gives me such peace of mind knowing that if anything ever happens to my phone, I don’t lose all my precious pictures! As an extra bonus, it also has an optional keychain to put it on and comes in a beautiful little box which would be great for gift-giving.

This easy to use backup stick works great for me. I have peace of mind knowing my photos are in more than one spot. I found it easy to use. I was able to back up my 27K photos/videos with some space left over, and it gave me the freedom to delete some photos that weren’t maybe my favorite but that I did want to keep, freeing up space on my phone. Setup up quick, directions were understandable. Give yourself some extra peace of mind by saving your photos on this device instead of paying for premium storage on iCloud or Google drive.

The app is easy to use and transfers data at an average rate of 70MB/s. The user manual and storage folders are located in the app folders for Mac and Windows. The app does a good job of backing up photos and videos without duplication. However, the £53.59 price may be steep for a memory stick with a backup app, despite its design for various USB ports.

Im Rahmen von Amazon Vine bekam ich den Speicherstick als kostenloses Testprodukt. Der Stick kommt gut verpackt zuhause an, die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und dazu sieht der auch noch sehr hochwertig aus. Am iPhone angeschlossen wird er erkannt und man kann die Fotos/Videos darauf sichern um wieder Platz auf dem Gerät zu bekommen. Als Speichererweiterung/Backup Stick ist der ideal geeignet. This is a really attractive, well-made stick: it's made entirely of metal (i.e. very robust), comes with a Lightning adapter and a ring with carabiner closure. The lightning adapter has a wide case (as the opposite side is a regular USB-A) and you will have to remove your phone case to get it to attach to your iPhone.I tested the app on my iPhone 14. The backup is already very simple, the software is easy to use, but the transfer speed to the stick wasn't that exhilarating.

This 128GB memory stick comes packaged together with instructions and lightning adapter. Build quality seems very good, the stick has an attractive metal finish and good weight to it. It features both a USB-A and USB-C connector. The body of the stick is mounted on a swivel so one connector is hidden while the other is exposed, with the included keyring attachable at the back end. There is a dust cap for the USB-C connector. Performance is great, with relatively fast data transfer and support for a variety of operating systems. True capacity checks out as 117GB. The main advantage of this drive is that I can connect it directly to my phone via USB-C without using an adapter, very useful. I am not sure the backup function justifies the high price tag but it has been working well so overall I'm very happy with this memory stick.
