Product didn’t work. There were 2 apps that was provided depending on the model you have HD and P2P. Both couldn’t connect through the “hotspot” on the initial setup so I scanned the QR code and it took the IP address and processed it BUT! it’s stuck on “logging in...” No matter how long I waited still nothing. I also deleted the app about 5 times and reinstalled.. same results..I’m not sure if I got a defective one.... but, I tried to contact their support which states “available 24/7” via email aaaaand low and behold 72hrs had passed, since my last email and still nothing. I ended up returning it.

UPDATE: For the past several months, the product has been logging in quicker (and remaining logged in). However, notifications are still painfully slow.Wifi alerts when someone enters the building work as promised. On the lowest setting passers by using a parallel driveway about 10 yards away do not activate the alarm even when a driveway-facing door is left fully open. Excellent for my use! Only one drawback: sometimes it logs in, requests service but a connection is established only after 6 or more consecutive attempts. Still, setup went well and their assistance was via telephone (in an understandable US accent) was well-reasoned and accurate. Would recommend ;-)

The upgraded Catch1 product and the company support both deserve full five stars each. Although my initially received product had a problem with initializing online, as mentioned by a prior reviewer, the company quickly provided unusually competent support over the telephone, which resulted in a new product shipped quickly, which I was able to connect well by following the downloaded instructions. The camera works better than I had thought it might. The motion alert is helpful. It is easily viewed and controlled from my iPhone. I ordered another one right away. And I may order more of them. Before ordering again I verified that the company has taken extra steps to assure that all older devices have been removed from Amazon warehouses to avoid any future problems. Experimenting with each of the functions and settings is rewarding. Default setup works well, mostly automatically. And options are extensive, although only briefly illustrated in the instructions at Catch1.net.

I liked the user friendly instructions. Catch1 provided two easy methods of following instructions for set up which was extremely helpful. Device feels well made and the images are clear and easy to see. Very discreet, I would highly recommend it!

Camera does not record sound. Not sure of the purpose but they said they night vision model doesn't do good sound. It doesn't do sound at all.

More narrow view than described so didn't work for me. Could be ok to watch a small area like a crib or doorway. Didn't try it a night as I boxed it up and returned it right away.

Its good for the price. Without light you can't see anything

Don't work after few months.
