Can't Wait to Get You Home by Eric Gable

Eric Gable's "Can't Wait To Get You Home" was undoubtedly one of 1991's best R&B CDs. "Come As You Are", "Keep My Love Burnin' Hot", "Sensous Lover", "Straight From My Heart" and Gable's excellent remake of the Teddy Pendergrass classic "Come Go With Me" are perfect vehicles for Gable's silky-smooth and deep voice. Although this CD undeservedly got no exposure outside of late-night Quiet Storm radio shows it remains a masterpiece of '70s Soul-flavored contemporary smooth Soul. Eric Gable deserved to have become a major R&B superstar.
