This is about right to lock the back or front wheel to the frame. It's not real long (30 inches) but if your not real paranoid that your bike is going to get stolen, and you just want to lock the wheel to the frame or one part of your bike to a post, this will work. 30 inches gives you maybe 14 inches of usable wrapping distance. The main reason for this lock would be light weight and compactness.All this does is keep the honest people honest, so if someone really wants your bike this isn't going to stop them for very long, but will slow them down a bit.
