Maxwell Williams White Basics East Meets West 16 Piece Dinner Set

I bought 2 boxes of this set to go with my other 2 boxes and discovered that the mugs and bowls aren't the same size as my original set. The plates and bowls are hard to stack in cupboards. The curves mean that you have to ensure that they all are packed facing the same way otherwise the stack falls over. I've broken 2 bowls by packing them incorrectly and 2 bowls broke even while wrapped in their original box! The plates are lovely and large, the mugs aren't great if you like big cups of tea or coffee. If I were looking for a square crockery set again, I would consider denby white square which I bought for a friend.

Some plates chipped on delivery but replaced promptly.The main problem is because the plates are square, the diagonal measurement is 14", they will not rotate in normal domestic microwaves.
