Nice and slim and an easy to replace filter

Installed, the filter looks amazing because of its flawless jet black finish; however, let's see how it performs. For my application, I placed it after the gas tank and just ahead of my electric fuel pump. I'll place a glass one or some other type of see-through filter ahead of the carburator so that I can better monitor the fuel's clarity and the pump's efficiency. The male nipples fit very snuggly, so snug that removing the filter later was difficult. No worries, thought, because the connections won't leak.

Worked well for my project.

Finding a fuel filter with a 3/8” hose diameter was SO tough. Everything is either 1/4” or 5/16”. Saw this one and was a little taken aback by the price (most other fuel filters are $10 for 3 or 4), but this was well worth the $20. The entire thing is made out of aluminum, which means it’s not going to crack or break over time or if you tighten down on a hose clamp too tight. The filter itself is super high quality, and can be removed to be cleaned if it starts clogging later on. There’s a rubber O-ring that will stop it from leaking at the spot where the two sides come together, and the hose barbs are perfect for a 3/8” ID hose. It’s not going anywhere. I also love the look of it as a brushed black aluminum. Blends in with my motorcycle engine well and isn’t an obvious or ugly piece.Do yourself a favor and spend the extra cash for this one if you have a fatter fuel line.
