Rubik's Speed Cube Set 3x3 GAN RSC with Rubik's Original Cube Bag and Bonus Cube Stand

After completing the original cube about 100 times I was starting to time myself and found that the pop and stalling that was experienced with the original cube was very frustrating when trying to get under 2 minutes. After having this cube for less than a day i did my first sub 2 minute time, followed promptly by my first 90 second time. Watch this space for sub 60 second. This cube flows with the speed of a thousand gazelles. The design allows for angled turns and doesn't need the full and complete alignment of the side before the turn. The cube does take a little getting used to if you have used purely original cube. However if you want to get faster then this cube is awesome.

I am not a Speed Cubist (6 mins at best) however, I do have an interest in the Cube technologies that have evolved since the very 1st Rubik's Cubes came onto the market back in the late 70's. I wanted to start a small collection of Cubes and have recently purchased 5 different Speed Cubes to kick things off.. I have to say this GAN-RSC is a really nice quality item that performs very well but will always exceed my speed ability. The RSC is certainly a technically superior device from its predecessors, which feels and looks great. I do like the Sticker-less design the RSC uses.However £29 seems a bit expensive for a Non-Magnetic Cube. At this price I would have thought GAN Rubik's could have included a Rubik's Bag, a proper Rubik's stand and the plastic Cube tension adjustment tool as standard but they don't. That said, I purchased this RSC from NitroCubes via Amazon who did include a Genuine Rubik's Bag and their own branded Stand. My intention is to display my collection of Cubes together with their packaging. Unfortunately the GAN RSC clear outer plastic packaging arrived with long splits on 3 surfaces which was disappointing and not really suitable for display purposes. I did submit the packaging issue via my feedback to NitroCubes. Within the hour, NitroCubes contacted me via the Amazon System and delivered the most Exceptional Customer Satisfaction Service. The issue re the damged packaging was addressed and I want to say Thank You to NitroCubes.

It's exactly as it was described. The cube has good cornering and it's plastic all through. Also when compared to other normal cube (non speed cube) the difference is largely felt. The delivery was also on time.

Great quality. Well worth the extra money.
