I bought these as replacements for a 1m USB-C cable I was using with my Crucial X8 SSD connected to my PC as the included cable was far too short. What I didn't realise was that this was severely limiting both the read and write speeds of the drive until I found out that there are different types of USB-C cables that support different speeds!Enter this cable, which I bought two of, to use with my old 2 TB Crucial X8 SSD and a new 4 TB Crucial X10 Pro. These are perfect and give me read and write speeds of 990 MB/sec using the two USB-C ports on my ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WiFi D4 motherboard. The X10 SSD can actually go up to almost 2 GB/sec transfer speeds with the right hardware.A great quality product that does exactly what it says it does. Highly recommended.

Does what it says on the tin

For the current price of £8.99 this cable is of good quality. If your devices support the same values then it delivers. If you need a 40Gbps cable you may find them for only slightly more. I could not test the 240w spec but it charged my old MacBook Pro fine. I could only try 1080 HD.

Really nice well built product works as it should had 0 issues with it the cable it breaded and I brought the longer version off this cable to run to where I have my gaming pc

I like how tightly wrapped is was in the packet, feels strong and has rugger dust caps on the end to stop dust getting when not in use. I will be buying more if they last longer than my last one off another seller.
