Genexice Stainless Steel Shower Caddy with Rotate & Lock Suction Cups

The one I received had clear "rubber" bumpers, not the black ones here. That's actually preferable, but it may indicate that a different manufacturer is now supplying them. The problem I had with the one I received is that the little metal "feet" that are covered by the bumpers were about 3/16" too long so the shelf tilted back quite a bit - enough that every item placed on the shelf slid to the back. I fixed it by cutting off the excess with a Dremel tool so that it was level when installed. OK now, but I shouldn't have had to re-engineer the product to get it to work.Another thing that shoppers should be aware of: There appear to be two different types of suction cups used on items that have this twist-lock mechanism. The ones on this shower caddy were the standard silicone. They stick very well to glass or smooth-glazed tile. They will not stick to a non-glassy surface - like many textured-tile walls. The other type of suction cup, found on the Genexice towel bar and hanging hooks sold on Amazon, is made from a very sticky, soft material -- it almost sticks tight without any suction. These would work on almost any flat substance - maybe even untreated lumber, though I haven't checked that out.

This shelf lives up to its name. It stays on the wall and I have had no problems thus far. I have only had the shelf for three weeks. The previous shelf served me well for almost five years although it did fall on occassion. It was much like this one only larger. This is the only complaint I have regarding this one. It's a problem easily solved by buying more shelves. If this one continues to stay on the wall I will buy more.This is an update: I bought this product five months ago and up until one month ago it performed beautifully. Last month it fell off the wall and no matter what I did to replace it, it would not adhere to the tile. I discovered that the suction cap would not turn to create the suction needed to keep it on the wall. It was damaged. Since I have had the product for more than thirty days I had to contact the seller, Genexice directly. I explained my problem and they reluctantly agreed to refund my money. I am still waiting for my refund some three weeks later. I am confused by the many people who have given this product four and five stars. My only explanation is that the company does not have any quality control. If you are fortunate enough to get a good product it works, if not you are out of luck. My advice, don't buy. My opinion, Amazon should not provide this item for sale.

Aw, man. I was really hoping this was the ONE. First of all, it took a month to get here (I should've read more closely that it comes from China). It looks really nice - shiny stainless steel. I followed the instructions for successfully attaching to the wall. We have a fiberglass shower, so it's a totally smooth surface. It supports my small shampoo and shower gel and razor just fine, but my husband's Costco-sized shampoo and conditioner only made it a couple of hours before going BOOM. So if you're only holding a few things that aren't gallon-sized, it works fine. But don't buy Costco shampoo. :)

I originally would have given this five stars -- it looks great, is easy to install, and I was impressed that it seemed to hold so well. I have exactly the kind of polished ceramic tile for which this is considered ideal. It held in place for about three months, then finally fell one day. I was able to stick it up again for about another two months, but then it fell again and I have not been able reattach it. Additionally, the slick polished silver look of the wall mounts began to wrinkle and peel, revealing the white plastic beneath. This would be useful only as a temporary solution, like showing an apartment or fixing up a guest bathroom for a short visit. I will not purchase another one.

This is a LOCKING shower caddy. The "locking" part is super important because it actually holds it to the shower stall's wall. I moistened the shower stall wall and the two suction cups prior to attaching it. The next step was twisting the suction cups to lock them. We have several bottles of shampoo on this rack and it has not fallen off of the shower's wall yet! It's important to note that a smooth surface is required. Shower's that are made of tile that may be uneven will allow air to enter between the suction cup and the shower's wall. Be sure that your shower has a flat and smooth surface if you plan to use this. The build quality is nice and I like how I can flip the tray up for cleaning.

I've had less than successful use of the caddy. First, one of the rubber bumpers is missing, so the metal rubs on the shower wall. Second, I love it a lot, but it doesn't stay stuck for me. I'm contemplating a double sided tape to force the issue, so the purchase isn't a waste. The reason I didn't go with 1 star - it does look great in the shower & is a perfect size for my needs.

It's holding up since we put it up more than a week ago. We put a brush in the biggest hole in the back so it "stands", our toothpastes hang down vertically and are no longer on our sink. We put it above the toilet - much less intrusive than the above toilet storage with legs. It also has our deodorants, our air freshener, my make-up bag hangs down from the little thing that protrudes from the back. It does seem to slant slightly toward the back, but we don't find stuff falling down because of it, so it's ok. I could put it up without my husband's help. It almost stuck even before I "locked" it into place. Now stuff is within our reach, out of our 2-yr-old's reach, and off the crowded sink. And all for a reasonable price! :)

The product came exactly as described. I put it up very easily and followed alot of the precautions that I read on the reviews. It seemed to be very sturdy and I was extremely happy with it. However, it ended up falling after one day. I tried again to put it up and put rubbing alcohol on the suctions to clean it and now it is sticking very nicely (over 5 days now).
