I've been looking for a digital clock to sit in the back window of the garage so it can be seen from the porch during the day. I've gone through three different clocks that just weren't bright enough. This one is large enough and bright enough to be see from about 7AM on. (Earlier than that, the sun shines directly on it.) This is perfect, very happy with the purchase!

Solved the problem of a 97 year old father confused of time of day/night. The 24 hour clock big bright numbers and other info has lowered his anxiety and confusion. Great clock. going to get one for myself

I ordered this clock for an 84 year young lady that has some macular ddegenerative issues with her sight. She has thanked me over and over again for this gift. I'm just happy that she can see the time well again. Not too mention the date and day of the week. ....update, I've ordered a second for her older sister that always raved about her clock. Bought this for my classroom. There is a timer feature that will countdown. If it counts down, it will beep when it reaches zero and immediately return to the clock. You can use it as a stopwatch as well. There is a battery back up so if the electricity goes off or it accidentally gets unplugged, you won't have to reset the time when it comes back on. When you do set things like the time or the clock, it does have a loud sound for every punch you make. The only way I have figured out how to reset the timer if I make a mistake is by turning it off and on again when it is just being used as the clock, the ":" between the hour, and minutes does blink. You do plug it into an outlet. It can be seen anywhere in my classroom. Seems like a good purchase so far.
