This anchor is SOLID. You'll want 3/8ths Carriage bolts for correct fit in installation. It was a major upgrade to my previous one that came in my truck that I use to chain things down for security. Highly recommended

These things are about as long as a soda can with the ring as shown in picture. I bought 'em for installation in the bed of my pickup, they will work and I did install them but they are way too heavy duty for that, they are more suited for trailer installation or along those lines.Aside from that, these things are downright awesome. Incredibly strong, I think you could use them to suspend a F350 from the ceiling with just 1. The coating is durable, use 3/8" carriage bolts because the holes are square and set for 3/8" carriage bolts.Only a very minor complaint: With the 3/8 carriage bolts the round bolt head does not sit 100% flat because the hump interferes just a bit. Quality control issue most likely, but thought I would mention it. Doesn't really bother me. Also, I bought 6 and each one has a slightly different shape to the plate or D ring, some when installed allow the ring to rotate freely, some do not without force. This is due to very slight differences in the shape of the D ring and the plate, and could be easily solved by slightly indenting the area the flat part of the Dring sits.

I think it could have used a swivel but it’s very sturdy and works very well for my 80lb Punching bag

Heavy duty 3” d-ring. 2” spacing on mounting holes. This thing will out last whatever bolts you use to mount it. Bolted it to my tractor to give a convenient tie sown spot.

Been using these since 2010 mounted on the concrete slab using Tapcon screws to hold secure a lightweight ham radio tower from the winds. It rains a lot here, even during the summer and only encounter slight surface rust.

I bought these to add to my car trailer as a point to attach the ratchet straps. I bolted them to the trailer with 3/8 grade 8 bolts and they everything held up perfectly. I already have a set on the front that are a different brand (can't remember which). The fronts have markings and rating forged into the D ring where these do not. Regardless, these worked perfectly and show no signs at all of distress. I strapped my 5K lb Jeep to the trailer very tightly and these performed flawlessly. I am planning to buy more to add some more strapping points to the trailer for added flexibility.

It's big and its thick. As kinky as that sounds it's a serious anchor ring
