Should Have Been A Blip On The Radar
I'm giving my rating based on the track "One Mile From Paridise", a slammin' jam that should have put this guy on the map. I have the cassette single, and I still play it when the mood hits me. Sooner or later I'm going to buy the CD and check out this guy's material. If it's anything like "One Mile From Paridise" then I'm in for a treat.

Underrated!!!
I wonder where he is today!! A soul man for sure - I thought his vocals were impressive. Notables on the album in my humble opinion were :stay by my side, one mile, can't get enuff, how many roads, hold me-it was an album worth buying really .Shoot, back then you were lucky to get two decent tracks on an album!!

Good early 90s sound
I found this CD in my mom's old collection. I listened once and was impressed. This guy has a really nice voice and sings about mature love relationships. If you liked Bobby Brown's "Don't Be Cruel" or any of Kieth Sweat's early stuff (and still listen to them), then you'll like what you hear here. It's just a good, classic, early 90s-sounding album with better than good vocals. This album may have slipped silently through the cracks, but it's definitely worth retrieving. Give it a try. Four instead of five stars simply because I discovered it nearly fifteen years after it was released and some of the songs sound naturally dated.

Could be worse, but still not that essential
The OK album from the obscure Robbie Mychals yielded the R&B hit "One Mile From Paradise". He's a not a bad singer, and the OMFP is a great song, but the rest of the album is fairly weak.
