It Actually Zaps Bugs
We have mosquitos really bad this year. I have a big bug zapper in the back yard where I have to run an electrical chord which is difficult. I wanted to add a smaller one in the front yard but really did not want to have to run another chord. So, when I saw the LiBa Solar Bug Zapper, I went ahead and ordered it. I didn't think that a solar powered unit would actually have enough juice to zap bugs but I was wrong. Here are my thoughts on this bug zapper:1) It assembles like a solar powered yard light. It has the tube that a stake attaches to one end and the other end pushes up into the unit. Then you push the stake into the ground where you want it and adjust the solar panel to gather sunlight. Easy to assemble and easy to install.2) If you don't want it stuck into the ground you can mount the unit to a fence post with a couple of provided screws.3) The night on and daylight off is accomplished through the solar panel. I assume it reads the current from the panel and when it drops off (dark outside) then the zapper turns on.4) There is a power switch so you can turn the unit off to clean the bugs out with the provided brush.5) You cannot tell if the power button is turning the unit on or off. I do not see any indicator light. The only way to truly tell is to take the unit into a dark room so you can see if the unit is on or off. In daylight it does not matter because it will always show as off.6) It actually works and zaps bugs. I was rather impressed, but it does have the power to kill those little pesky bugs. Now I live in the north so we do not have many hours of darkness so I cannot tell you how long it actually runs before running out of zapper power. But for now it does last our short nights and it does zap the pesky critters. Conclusion:This little unit is nice and is working well without having to drag an electric chord around. I will see if it lasts the test of time and if it does I will probably purchase a couple more of these to place around the yard.

Needs full sun in order to work.
I purchased 2 but only 1 works. It took several days of full sun to charge enough to work. One finally worked but the other has never worked even though they were placed together in the sun to charge. I have to move the working zapper into full sun every other day for it to recharge. The location I need to use it gets sun 1/2 a day but it’s not enough to keep it charged. I’ve contacted the company about the non working zapper but I’ve not heard back from them as of today. It’s a great concept using solar charging but again it needs full sun for several days to remain charged.

Works well if enough sun during the day.
Placed in a sunny spot this will run for many hours. Convenient form factor.Though I would warn that bugs zappers like this don't really work well for mosquitos unless used in conjunction with clip on octenol lure. The light will attract moths at night, but mosquitos really aren't attracted to light.

Night sensor doesn’t work
The light itself is not very sturdy. It does charge during the day but does not turn on at night. I have to push the on button manually, and it lasts just a few hours, not anything close to 8-10. I would not buy this one again or recommend it.

Very dim
This solar bug zapper is a major disappointment. NOT worth the asking price. It arrived uncharged. I placed it in an area that is full sun from about 10am until dusk, and it is ridiculously dim even after being in the sun for several days- not bright enough to really attract many bugs. Very disappointed in this zapper. Don't waste your money.

Fantastic!
This is amazing!! We live near wetlands and the bugs have been insane! This has made an enormous difference in my life!! So many were sneaking into the house before that I had to wear deet to bed! We have this a few feet from the front steps and almost none get into the house now!

Hard to say if it worked or not
I can't tell if this worked or not. There was no visible "zap" that I noticed, though that doesnt mean it wasn't working. But the rechargeable batter that the solar uses wore out pretty quickly, and after about four months, it's just dead.

Works O.K., not great/Doesn't seem to help much against mosquitos though which is why I got it?
This LiBa bug zapper can attract & kill an array of flying insects but to date, I haven't seen it help much for mosquitos. It says it can also kill wasps, but I believe the wasps are too smart for the trap as I haven't seen 1 dead one yet.It seems to kill moths well & an occasional fly & a few other flying insects that I don't recognize but I think part of the problem is that I used the ground stake to mount this instead of mounting it high on an outside wall with a hanger & it's too low to the ground to attract them to the zapper.I just got this so I'm still experimenting. I will report back & alter my review if it indeed does start killing mosquitos, which is why I wanted this bug zapper in the first place. For now, it gets 4-stars as is does kill some insects, just not the ones I was hoping for.
