This is a great, solid, and beautifully made portafilter. Nicely weighted and the wood handle is a good length with a variety of choices in color.Any complaints about splashing in reviews is not about the portafilter. It's all about the prep. It takes a lot of time and patience. If that's not for you it's ok, don't let the internet guilt you into something you're not ready for. Even if you believe you need a better basket, you can swap it out. For the price, I believe you still come out ahead with this portafilter.The seller makes a 2 spout version that is also great. People have been making great coffee with spouted portafilters for a very long time

This portafilter is completely metal with a beautiful anodized aluminum handle. Probably dishwasher safe but I would recommend hand washing only.. It has a flat configuration so you can lay it on your counter and it remains stable. Fits 58 MM baskets perfectly as well as my Ascaso espresso machine.

So it's a nice portafilter, well designed. My first one came without the double spout but seller worked very quickly to send me another with the double spout. Excellent service! These have very nice wood handles. These double spout ones are hard to find - at least those that are well designed like this one - now that lots of expresso freaks are going to bottomless portafilters. But given the tendency of those bottomless ones to splash, if you're making real espresso in a real espresso cup, the double spout portafilter is the only way to do it, assuming you don't want to fuss with cleaning drips off the cup before drinking it or passing the cup to someone.

Works great on a Gaggia Classic Pro. Does not spill, the quality feels premium. Amazing for the price

The quality is very good, the whole thing is sturdy, the wood handle is beautiful. The problem I had is that the holes in the filter itself were too big, so the flow is too quick and was getting almost no crema. I swapped the filter with the one from the original Breville basket. With that it’s great, but somehow not the point..

I love this portafilter. It comes with its own basket. It must be a 20 to 22gram basket. I have my own 18 gram vst basket. I don’t like shots over the 20 gram mark just not my cup of tea or I guess coffee. The portafilter fits perfectly into my Gaggia classic evo pro. I have stalled out a couple shots when dialing in a new coffee and I have had zero water spill out the side. If you want a bottomless portafilter for you gaggia classic evo pro I do recommend this one.

Feels very high quality, a good weight and smooth wood. The basket that comes on it is pretty good.

Fits really well, I added an upgraded IMS basket and it’s far superior to the portafilter that came with my machine. With an upgraded basket and a few accessories like a wdt tool it brought my espresso game up a level.
