Great idea but poor quality fabric. I assume as these are fittings for modern double glazed windows they decided temperature wasn't a factor but I was still surprised by how thin (cheap) the fabric is. Having raised and lowered one three times, not being heavy handed at all, the tiny thread holding the plastic loop for the drawstring fell out so I've had to stitch it back in this evening as they were hanging lopsided. The metal grommets are a great idea though and clearly what you're paying for with this product.

There are pro's and cons to these blinds. Firstly, they are the thickness of net curtains, so in my opinion are best as dress blinds rather than function. The string is thin, so I think if you are regularly pulling them up and down they may break over time. I found the instructions poor, but they are very easy to assemble once you guess how! I purchased 3 and one of them had a different set of plastic roda which threw me slightly, and one of them came with rods that did not fit together. I also used command hooks for my dummy window and for the string. I agree they are slightly over priced. Worth £10 but nice enough.
