This really should have come with the unit. The hot sun typically melts the adhesive stickers you can buy. This has stayed on all summer during 100 degrees or more. It’s very easy to install, once it’s on it’s on. I actually once tried to move it in order to straighten it out, it was very difficult because of how well it sticks.

Between the high heat and constant temp changes here in the South, our Ring Dash Cam would fly off the windshield every turn we took. The original adhesive just wasn’t enough and it was super annoying. Ever since we installed this holder, it hasn’t budged one bit. A little annoyed that it’s necessary on top of purchasing the camera itself, but it works. Another plus is if you have one installed in multiple vehicles, it’s super easy to grab the dash cam and move it from vehicle to vehicle. So that’s convenient. Overall a necessary buy and does what it should. Would definitely recommend if you have the Ring Dash Cam.

It is a good “sleeve” system if you want to move your Ring Car Cam from car to car, or if you want an easy installation that is less “permanent.” It’s built well, is great quality, and works exactly as it should.

I have always appreciated Ring products for their exceptional quality, but unfortunately, the car dash cam fell short of my expectations. Eventually, the engineers managed to come up with a solution, which should have been implemented from the start. It’s disappointing that it took negative reviews on Amazon for action to be taken, leading to the product's discontinuation. It’s crucial to remember that first impressions matter. Companies should ensure thorough testing in diverse environments before rushing to release a product.

Good product, easy to install and the adhesive is strong.

Works as advertised! Make sure it's on where you want it and straight before you press that sucker down cause that glue is sticky :)

This product works exactly as designed. It secures your Ring car Cam when the stick adhesive on it fails. You can order a set of these and transfer your Ring car cam between cars. It holds steady and has a strap to keep it nice and secure. It’s too bad this camera is no longer sold for it works well enough, and this accessory is extremely helpful. We have had this for over two years now and the adhesive has held steady, even with the unforgiving heat of summer.
