Smooth Modern Soul from an accomplished vocalist. Backing and production takes classic dance Soul into the modern era sympathetically as is expected from Expansion Records. There are hints of gospel and jazz in the vocals and arrangements that emerge more later in the album. The album includes the songs popular on the UK soul dance scenes and is a welcome release that is definitely worth purchasing.
