excellent product
I was a bit harsh about this item mainly because I thought it was overpriced, but i fitted it to my helmet and so far it has been brilliant, easy to fit and very easy to locate the camera on it, and although I still think it is a bit expensive its turned out to be worth the money

motoradds helmet chin Mount
Before i start i would like to add that this product is what it says on the can, and i suggest anyone who uses a helmet camera to invest in one of these,as they are very handy to have, and extremely easy to you, considering the other mounts that are around, and from what i have seen this is sofa, the best.arrived early today. Also may i add i am not being paid/endorsed for my review!Pictures 1 to 5 explanation1) Here you can see how flush it is against the helmet, now this helmet is a Schubert C3 pro (flip lid),the only gaps you will see are the ones where the side arms attach.2) Considering the contours of the helmet, i was able to apply the mount easy and flush and at a point where i did not need to many attachments for the gopro (session). As you can see i used, one screw in the middle. And if you look you can just see where i had to file down the corners so the attachment would fit in flush,(maybe a idea to pre-check that before sending out).3) This is the other side, again you can see its flush with the helmet, and basically the same as picture two, only other side.4/5) From the top you can see all 3 points of contact in place, and fitting snugly....Oh yes... :-) also in the 5th picture this is just showing you the angle of the attachment, and the frame.PRO'sIts easy to fit, and comes with all parts/instructions you need to mount and attach camera! It is a way better system then the normal GoPro attachments, as this is specifically designed to fit any type of helmet,so people make sure you add your helmet type and a picture so people can then see that it will fit any Lid!Knowing that your able to get free M3 replacement stickers when replacing helmet ect....Thanks for that motoradds.CON'syou would be better if it was made out of aluminum, this would give it more strength (yes this is strong, but never the less it would be a much stronger mount)! The price ,considering the fantastic peace of kit, is a little high, however i hope that if you did make a aluminum one, that the price would not change! The side arms that you attach, making them a little wider I.E like little wings, this would give more surface and support, however this one is a slim design.!Overall i am very happy nevertheless, and yes it is worth while spending the money to get this, it will benefit me and others who use it, as it helps you hide the camera a little therefore , people will not see it as clearly if its on the side of your helmet.thanks You MOTORADDS for a great peace of kit

Sturdy and well made.
This is well made and although it does not fit the shape of my Shoe Hornet ADV2 helmet, it stays on with the strong adhesion and does the job perfectly.

Great chin mount with some reservations
As you can see in product photo, the mount has a slight downward tilt (this is in fact a Shoei NXR helmet, if I'm not mistaken, the same that I have mounted mine on). This is where the problem lies, if it was mounted on the upper section above the ridge line on the chin, then access to the chin vent would be obstructed, as such even with a J mount (another purchase if you don't possess one already), the camera still points downward showing my speedo and the tarmac. In order to get it to tilt up, to get a level field of view, it wants to tilt back slightly towards the helmet, and this is only possible with a J mount and two other adjustable connectors.I say two, because unless you buy a specific chin mount, you'll have the camera facing sidewards as the interconnects are at right angles to each other, the result is an unwieldy arrangement that will shake due to having a few joints inline. This isn't much better than having a side mount with the same number of interconnects defeating the object of paying extra for this lovely chin mount. The cheapest method I found to get some connectors was this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07DLYD5HL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1You'll see in the picture that their interconnects are all in line with each other cutting down the required number to tilt the camera back just one.Remember, this so far only applies to the Shoei NXR, my XR1100 may still have a similar problem. It would've been nice to have had the mount have some built-in casting in an upward direction to save some of this hassle, as I'm guessing most helmets have a downward facing lower chin part.Still, a lovely mount, shame you've got to pay (on top of a premium price) for extra fittings to get a picture of anything but the tarmac and the front of your bike.

Not worth the money.
For that price i expected it to fit snug on the helmet. With a little tug you can pull the the mount off. I dont do any crazy speeds on my bike and dont think the wind force woud blow it off but i would recommend you tie the gopro to the helmet as well.

Excellent chin mount.
I've bought one of these mounts before from the states. The mount and import duty came to about £50.Thankfully someone has now started to sell these is the UK so the price you see is the price you pay. However, these are still quite expensive for a bit of mass produced moulded plastic.I wear a Shoei Adv Hornet helmet and the mount isn't a perfect fit. However it does go on and hasn't come off yet 🤞

Great products! All of them!
I have 2 of the Shoei Neotec 2 helmets and it is a hard helmet to find a center mount for. Not much room on it. I tried the Chin Mount brand but it wouldn’t hold my camera where I wanted it. I used a couple of extra GoPro extenders and that made it too heavy. So I went with the MotoRadd chin mount. I did drill and tap two screws in these for extra security. These new cameras are expensive and like I said, it’s hard to find a mount that works on my helmets. I can now mount my cameras anyway I want to mount them. Still used the 3M tape as well. I also bought the Flex Slim mount and put it on the windscreen of my BMW R1250 GSA and it holds the Hero 11 Mini, the Hero 4 and 5 Sessions cameras perfectly. And I also bought the MotoRadd GoPro mic adapter holder too. These products have allowed me to make videos like a PRO! Love these products! Great value, great price!

Very satisfied.
I have this mounted on a HJC RPHA 70 Helmet and it fits very well. I mount a Gopro Hero 10 on my helmet.

Buen producto
