The Legacy Carryak Heavy Duty J-Bars are designed to be mounted onto your vehicle's existing roof rack bars to act as a cradle for anything you want to carry and keep held firmly in place. Ideal for kayaks and canoes, but has many other uses such as SUP's, surfboards, skis, ladders etc. The J-bars are designed to support one kayak or canoe (single or tandem), but will hold multiple SUP’s and surfboards. Each bar is fitted with 6 rubber pads to protect the load and stop it coming into contact with aluminium frame. The cleverly engineered clamping system means that they will fit various profiles of roof bar including square, aero and some wing bars. The J Bars also come with two heavy duty tie down straps for securing the load to the bars.

Good and bad
A few things could be improved greatly BUT they do the job and didnt cost very much. CAREFUL. SHARP EDGES! I did cut my hand a bit on some sharp metal edges. Thats a no-no. Also, one of the 4 screws was an odd one. Factory fault or pre-opened pack where a screw was lost I dont know. But overall they do the job well, my big kayak doesnt budge and they are easy to fit and use. Just wished i didnt need a plaster after fitting lol.
