Back To His Best
I had my doubts about buying another mix cd from Paul Oakenfold based on a few recent disppointments and especially so at £20. I was a big fan of his early mixes like Journey By DJ, Global Underground and Perfecto and thankfully the 4 CD box set is a wonderful collection. I particularly like the summer mix but they are all really well put together and more like his old self. Definitely by if you liked his early stuff.

Unexpected classic
I must say that I was a little bit sceptical when I saw that Paul Oakenfold has puted another one compilation because I dont like when it comes too often. In this case this is his second compilation in this year ( I think ). Second reason of my doubt is that I am not so much in love with trance music in past ten years because prouction in that genere of EDM goes, by my opinion, in wrong way, every song sounds same , and the biggest problem is the worthiness of that kind of music that is very short-lived. So there is a very small number of trance compilations that are worth of listening after some time. But in this case, Oakenfold moved forward in thinking and made fantastic four mixes that shows all his greatness and talent regarding most of other DJs and producers that are trying to do same job. Summer mix cd is probably one of the best mix cds that I heard in my life,very progressive, not too fast bpm, melancholic, full vocal and with soul. Even if I am a pretty much in pop music these days, this would be probably one of my favorite albums in this year.

This is a brilliant addition to his long lline of superb dance music. whether you love trance or not it very hard to love the quality of this music master and pioneer of dance music
