!!!!!YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!!!!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ON AMAZON / THIS SELLER. Long story short just buy this off SokoGlam or somewhere else. I wanted to try this cleanser, read the reviews (including the ones about the ripped Safety Seal) but still bought it. Unfortunately the seal was indeed open, I tried to be like, maybe it’s still okay though. Then the INSIDE SAFETY SEAL was HALF OPEN AS WELL!!! which is weird Bc it should be sticky, but the part opened was not sticky at all.... that concerned me A LOT. IMMEDIATELY requested for a refund. I will NOT risk my skin with a product that’s been opened for some reason... it makes you wonder WHY all these people are getting opened products and WHY the seller is opening them.... some shady stuff for sure. So if you want to try this product don’t risk it or waste your time buying it HERE, buy it elsewhere.

Careful if you have very sensitive skin!
I read great reviews on this product, looked into many different oil cleansers and decided on trying this one for sensitive skin. After the first use my cheeks were inflamed, tender, and stung. Thankfully it went away relatively quickly and I chalked it up to trying a new product. Well, that was my first mistake. My second mistake, was continuing to use it in an attempt to get my skin to adjust. I used it maybe 3 more times, with the final time leaving visible burns on my skin, peeling and flaking on the extra sensitive areas of my face, and unable to even use moisturizer or go outside in the cold air without feeling pain. If you don’t have sensitive skin, this product could be great! But if your skin is sensitive, avoid this, or at least, SPOT TEST first!

A big disappointment
This product has so many great reviews. I was excited to try it. On the plus side, it smells nice and left my face literally squeaky clean. However, this didn’t outweigh the negatives: inconvenient application compared to a squeeze bottle, which took more time to use; only lasted 1 1/2 months compared to other product that has lasted me up to 5 months with 2x daily use; clogged bathroom drain (probably because as you’ll see the consistency is like coconut oil; and worst of all it left a film over my eyes causing irritation. This is a product I wanted to love, but I don’t plan on purchasing again.

Feels less substantial than Clinique Take the Day Off - need more product
I'm still on the fence regarding this cleanser. I decided to try it to see if it was as good as Clinique Take the Day Off. It doesn't feel the same first of all. Banila melts to an oil very quickly and I prefer the feel of Clinique to it. This product feels more whipped up with air so that the same size scoop as what I would use of the Clinique doesn't seem to wash as well as Clinique. So I end up needing more product. So while Banila is cheaper than Clinique, by the time you factor in the extra amount needed, I'm not sure if there's really that much difference in cost. That being said, this product does clean well and the included scoop with the plastic cover is a nice touch. It's in a pretty jar and the jar fits better in my drawer than Clinique's wider, lower jar. So I'm unsure about which product to continue with or whether to search for something else. Hmmm....Update 6/5/19 - the more I use this cleanser, the more I like it. I have found that adding some water to emulsify and spread the product around stretches it further. So I do think that I'm using about the same amount of product that I used with Clinique. I still like the feel of Clinique's better, but plan on continuing with this product to save a few bucks. I am not breaking out or having any kind of negative reaction.

NOT AUTHENTIC BANILO CO... I GOT A FAKE!!!
I never write reviews, BUT I also have been buying this oil cleanser for years (mainly on Amazon) and have ALWAYS gotten the REAL ONE, made by the actual manufacturer, BANILO CO, which comes with a little slim plastic *bag* inside that contains a little instruction manual as well as... how do I explain this... a little card that you place on the inside of the box, behind the hologram sticker (which is on the back of the box), and when you do so, it creates a certain pattern on the sticker, and thatttt tells you that that is BANILO CO’s guarantee that you are getting the real deal product. This is the first time that I have EVER not received the authentic product, and I’m pretty sure I alwayssss order from this same seller, and yet I paid the same price! Everything looks exactly the same, except they didn’t put the instructions or little hologram card thingie inside the plastic fold-over baggie (along with the plastic top to the cleanser and the little scooper- those were the only two things that came in the baggie), andddd the hologram sticker on the box looks different.Well anyway, I tried using the product just to see if it still at least worked the same, and in my opinion, it definitely doesn’t. The real one, when you start to rub it into your skin with the slightest bit of water, will start to lather a bit, while this one didn’t. I used it for two days (four washes), and by the end of the second day, I was breaking out! If you’re looking to buy this face wash, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing a little recon first to find out which sellers are selling the real deal, and invest in the AUTHENTIC product with your hard earned money (especially since it’s the same price!)! Good luck!PS~ I just double checked to see where I normally order this cleanser from (and have always received the original, authentic product), and it’s this same seller!!So FYI to BANILO CO seller: I don’t know if you changed up where you’re getting your products from, but if I were you, I would go back to where you used to get your products from, because THESE ARE FAKES!!

Useful and rather good
I use this as an evening cleanser most of the time and it’s helped keep my spots down without causing my sensitive skin to flare up. The only reason it hasn’t got four stars is because the jar doesn’t have instructions and that was somewhat frustrating.

Unexplained breakout explained by other reviewers!
I think I’m one of the ones who got a knock-off product. Packaging looks like it is the same but I did not get the instruction booklet like another reviewer said comes with the genuine clean it zero product. Used for about 2 weeks and broke out all over my entire face (and neck) like I never have before, and I’ve had moderate acne since my late teens (I’m 40 now). Should have known when I was grossed out by the smell - kind of like baby powder and diapers and not in a clean, aww babies, kind of way. I’d give it zero rating if I could. Makes me mad that selling fake products on Amazon is even a thing. I guess sticking to Sephora or other make-up and skincare sellers is the safest bet. Honestly, don’t waste your time, money or your skin gambling on whether or not you’ll get the real product.

Amazing!
My skin is super sensitive, so I am wary of using anything on it that'll make my rosacea flare up. This removes dirt and makeup when you first rub it on your face, and then when you rinse it, it turns milky and washes off easily. It has no scent.I use this in my two-step cleansing routine in the evenings. I follow it with either a gel or cream cleanser, and my skin feels fantastic afterwards. I skip using this in the mornings just because my skin isn't dirty from the day. I'll just use my gel cleanser followed by my cream cleanser.Anyway, I highly recommend this sensitive skin version of this cleansing balm if your skin is finicky like mine.Would 100% buy it again when I run out.

Bad for sensitive skin
Never seen my skin breakout this bad since I was 16. At first I thought it was just my hormonal acne acting up but it never flares up to this degree, finally pinpointed it down to this product. I’ve even made sure I used a water based cleanser after using this but it broke me out so bad, my skin feels itchy and it’s covered in these small red bumps so I’m assuming it’s an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients. Which is such a shame cause I wanted to love the Banila oil cleanser but it doesn’t seem to be great for those who may have sensitive skin. Please double check the ingredients before purchasing.

Clean & Gentle
This is my favourite cleanser to remove makeup. It melts off everything gently and has a light rose scent. It rinses cleanly and doesn’t break me out or irritate my combination skin. I cleanse only with this and then proceed to do the rest of my routine and I haven’t broken out. I did double cleanse when I first got this, to get any excess residue off but then I realized this cleanser leaves no residue. Just baby soft skin.
