Monster Jam Showdown - Nintendo Switch

My 7.5 yr old loves this game! If I were to score it: for a young child who loves monster trucks and arcade-style fun, this game is very good. It’s not ultra-deep or a masterpiece, but it does what it sets out to do — deliver smashy, bouncy monster-truck fun with enough modes to keep it interesting. For you as a parent / supervising adult: it’s a safe, enjoyable pick with the caveats above.

My recently turned four-year-old loves to play this on the switch. Not too difficult for him to figure out how to play. There’s a training option where they can just drive all around the dirt training ground and then another monster jam option. He loves getting to switch out the trucks and watch the pieces kind of fall off while he does different tricks like they do in real life at the monster jam shows. I believe it will be a game that will keep him interested for years to come.

Bought this for the kids for a road trip to use on our switch. They loved it.It was so much fun. My middle child is obsessed with monster trucks and instantly wanted to play it upon seeing the package. Switch will never cease to amaze me with how large their boxes are for such a small game cartridge. Either way, it was super easy to open up. Install and start to play.

This is a fun game especially if you are looking to kill time. It has settings that make it easer to control or more difficult. Lots of fun courses and races

Fun game for my grandkids. My grandson turned 6, and it's a good game for him and the other kids.

Overall this is a fun game for kids who like monster trucks. I bought it for my 3 year old and im thinking thats too young to start on this game. The controls are a little too complicated for him. Id probably say 5+ would be a good range to start. Once you get used to the controls it becomes a lot easier to operate the trucks. My biggest issue is that some of the tracks that you can race have bugs in them. Ive found a couple spots where my truck gets stuck with no possible way to recover back on the track.

Purchased for my son. He loves it! Still hasn't beat me, he gotta earn that!

Got this for our son and our family loves this game. My husband had a wonderful time playing and unlocking some trucks.
