Roman Silver Coins: A Price Guide

THIS IS THE LATEST EDITION.
THIS IS THE 4th edition of this book, I use it a lot and it wears out, falls to pieces. It is a great book for a beginner but is also invaluable for a more serious collector. Previously published by Rotographics, but now by coin Publications, this latest edition has coin prices revised upwards as you might expect. It is not as well made as previously and the paper is thinner and not as smooth, pity, but still highly recommended. There is a companion book, Roman Base Metal Coins, but I think it has not been revised since 2009, so prices of coins will be too low and out of date. It is still excellent, but expect to pay more for the coins.

Completely disappointed!
Completely unrealistic estimated prices (values) of the coins. The coins are not photographed, they are sketches. Completely disappointing...I know all the books of Kampmann, that is real work! I hoped to get a "second opinion" concercing the estimated prices of the coins, but this is more a joke, the market is quite different nowadays...

Roman Silver Identified
I already have the base metal Roman Coins book so this was an easy purchase to make. Both books are simple to use and you will easily identify any Roman Coins you are lucky enough to find. The books provide a clear and concise overview of Roman coinage in Britain. A must have for any detectorist or coin collector.
