My granson loves identifying wild animals
This was another good purchase that my 9-year-old grandson enjoys. He likes identifying wild animals from a distance, so these reels are right up his alley!

Classic animal adventure
Reels for classic viewfinder (of course viewfinder not included). Not cartoons: instructive about nature. Vibrant color, 3-dimensional animal representation captures kids' attention.

Works great and pictures are beautiful!
I included a picture of the viewmaster I bought and the blue box is the slides that are included. The slides on the right are the ones I'm reviewing. They are basically the same. They fit perfectly and rotate just like the ones I bought with the viewer. They are very nice quality of pictures and will be a good addition to my collection.

These are not convincing 3D photos.
These are not convincing 3D photos. Some look stuffed and posed. I cannot recommend either the reels or the viewfinder.

Clear picture and fun for kids!
The picture is clear and my nephew loves looking at animals so these reels are a lot of fun. I appreciate that they include a case, it’s super helpful! 3D is a little of an overstatement, but my nephew is 4 and doesn’t care, he thinks seeing the animals is fun regardless!

THEY COME WITH A CASE!!
My daughter got a viewfinder for Christmas and the discs quickly got lost and destroyed because they were loose, so the fact that these come with a case was a HUGE plus for me. My daughter’s been loving them, and mama loves being able to put them away safely so I don’t have to keep replacing them.

Great for Nostalgia, but not quite like you remember
One thing I noticed immediately is that the photos are very clear. None of them had spots or noise. And while they do appear 3D (some more than others), the 3D effect isn't on par with the amazing effect from the original View-Master reels from the 90's (of which I have some that I passed on to my kids). They come in a very nice plastic storage case which is a major plus! All-in-all, about as good as you are going to get for a "new" 3D reel these days.
