Recommended by Harvard Medical this is the best entry level electric toothbrush for you add to your arsenal. A few important considerations you would want to keep in mind to get the most out of it: 1) HYGIENIC USAGE TO AVOID MOULD: You need to take apart & rinse the foam off the brush after every use, leave the head as well as the handle to air dry outside to avoid growth of mould from moisture that gets trapped in spots you cannot reach if the brush isn’t opened up. If you’re lazy and just throw your brush around in your bathroom, this is not for you. I’ve gotten used to this ritual after every use and just leave both parts to air dry in a glass and have never faced any issues with mould. 2) PAIR WITH A SOFT MANUAL TOOTHBRUSH FOR COMPLETE CLEANING: This does not completely replace a manual toothbrush. I still use a regular manual toothbrush followed by my IO3 and my teeth feel the best they have. One does not replace the other. The iO3 can reach spots your manual toothbrush cannot, and guides you on the perfect pressure to apply to your teeth. Another friend I recommended this to and started using it was advised by his dentist to not give up manual brushing during his checkups. I have found the best solution is to employ both methods to cover all aspects of cleaning your teeth. My teeth have felt the healthiest, cleanest and brightest since I have combined both. 3) BRUSH HEADS NEED TO BE REPLACED EVERY 3 MONTHS: They’re readily available on Amazon however this will be a recurring cost, so keep that in mind. Still cheaper than paying thousands at the dentist, so the cost is worth it. 4) DOES NOT HAVE FAST CHARGING LIKE THE IO8/9: I tend to leave it overnight for a 0 - 100 charge so it’s not a problem for me, but something to keep in mind for your daily usage. If you can go for the next model, I would recommend it for the screen as well as the fast charging.

I wasn’t sure if an electric toothbrush would make a big difference, but the Oral-B iO3 has completely changed my mind. Within just a few days, my teeth felt so much cleaner, and I noticed a brighter smile. The round brush head does an amazing job reaching every part of my mouth, even those tricky spots at the back. The pressure sensor is super helpful—I used to brush too hard, and now I know exactly how much pressure to use. I also love the different cleaning modes. It’s lightweight, easy to hold, and the battery lasts a long time. Brushing has become something I look forward to, and my teeth have never felt better!

Good product, just would want a extra brush head with it and the battery goes down very fast, you all need to fix that too

Works well and comfortable to use. The battery lasts around 2 weeks and takes a few hours to charge fully.

Do note, the product arrives in a non-sealed hard-paper box, had to double-check it. The brush handle is matte, and the button area has a rubber like texture for grip. Their user manual doesn't explain the modes properly, so, based on oscillation/speed: 1. There's one that oscillates slower compared to other modes, so it may be 'Sensitive'? 2. Then, one pulsate between low-to-high, so 'Whitening'? 3. Last, one runs on a higher speed, so 'Daily Clean'? There is a LED in the button, but its only there to alert for changing brush-head, they could have dual-purposed it. Based on my ~10 days daily-once use, it hasn't warned me of low battery yet, if you're switching from sonic brushes, it will take 2-3 days to adjust, using the sensitive mode during this transition phase makes it easier, and the brush doesn't stop at 2-min mark, which some sonic brushes do. I really liked the upgrade, it takes way less effort to get the same result as a sonic brush, its a bit noisy, but way less than Pro/Vitality series. If you're worried about price, Oral-B last a long time, and there are tutorial to replace the in-built battery if it causes issue post-warranty period, remember to register the product online for an additional year of warranty.

I had the cool environmentally friendly toothbrush that’s become all the rage in recent years but it just wasn’t doing the job on plaque build up. It did look pretty though. This is a much more robust brush and actually makes my teeth feel cleaner. I wish it was more environmentally friendly but I want to keep my teeth for a little bit longer.
