Steam cleaning is an effective method of cleaning and sterilizing surfaces and these nozzles are useful attachments. They are attached to the stream cleaning nozzle using a baynet, and simply twisting on where they are held securely.There are four nozzles supplied, 3 with nylon bristles and one with 'copper' bristles, although they appear to be brass. The nylon ones are different colours so they can be assigned to different cleaning tasks. The nylon bristles are quite stiff and, with the steam, are effective in dislodging dirt from most surfaces. However, being stiff there's no need to apply too much pressure which would otherwise damage delicate surfaces such as painted ones. The attachment with 'copper' bristles would be particularly useful for cleaning tough and stubborn dirt such as metal barbeque and oven racks but I wouldn't use it on any other surfaces, even hard ones like glass, as it will most likely scratch them.They are competitively priced compared to similar ones on Amazon.

This kit came with 4 brush heads - 3 of them are nylon and felt the same stiffness and the last one is made of brass. The nylon brushes are on the stiff side - this does make them great for cleaning but you do have to be careful with delicate surfaces with them not to scratch. I'm not quite sure what I would use the brass head for - i'd be too worried about it scratching things in my kitchen or bathroom but perhaps it would be good for cleaning bicycle or car parts where you're not too worried about this.
