Most Effective Rat Control Out There
Despite my initial skepticism about products that advertise as contraceptives for rodents, I was pleasantly surprised and quite impressed with the effectivity of this product. This product does what it says and says what it does. And not only is it effective, but it is much easier to use than rat poison and most importantly, it gets rid of the problem without a mess and the nightmarish prospect of having to wake up every morning dreading to find dead rats in traps which is quite disturbing to see. The makers of this product have made getting rid of rats tolerable, clean and most importantly, more effective than rat poison. Once the rats eat this product, they become infertile and soon you will see their population getting smaller and smaller and reduce down to nothing. And for anyone claiming that this product doesn't work, they definitely did not use it right. They either did not leave the Evolve contraceptive out for the entire 4 weeks to make the rats infertile, or they didn’t place the Evolve contraceptive in the right location on their property where there’s known “rat traffic”, or they didn’t place the Evolve contraceptive in their housing units CORRECTLY (if you don’t put them in their housing units correctly, other animals like opossums and racoons will get to them and pull them out and eat them), or they left the Evolve contraceptives out during daytime which damages the product’s contraceptive properties by exposing it to heat of the sun, or they didn’t put something enticing in their housing units to draw the rats to the contraceptive. I personally used “tootsie rolls” to draw the rats to the Evolve contraceptive and that did the trick for me. When used correctly, this product works like a charm and is a long-term solution to the problem of having rats in the neighborhood. Because when you control their fertility, the population does not reproduce, and you will see their population in your neighborhood become extinct. That's why cities with rat problem such as New York are exclusively using this contraceptive to take care of their rat issues.

IT WORKS !!!!
I had a HUGE rat problem in my backyard (I'm talking 50 rats. Not joking). It was so bad that one of my neighbors who had complained about my rat problem, actually called the "Health Department" on me. The Health Department sent me letters threatening to fine me for $1500 if I didn't address the problem quickly. But I just didn't have the heart to kill the rats. So I browsed the internet looking for an alternative to killing the rats. I searched and searched the internet until I ran into this product. Although I was a little hesitant at first about buying this product due to its price, I decided to give it a try anyway, as I had no other option available to me and didn't want to get fined. So I ordered this product and bought some “bait stations” to put this product in. Evolve birthcontrol comes in the form of sausages to make the product taste and smell appetizing to rats. Soon after receiving this product, I started putting it in the bait stations that I had bought for it. I then placed the bait stations in my back yard. The rats refused to eat the product at first, so I tried luring the rats to the Evolve sausages by putting little pieces of bread covered with peanut butter in the bait stations. I covered the Evolve sausages with peanut butter as well. Pretty soon, they started eating the Evolve sausages and even seemed to like them. After giving the rats these Evolve sausages for about three months, I noticed that their numbers didn't seem to be on the rise anymore. Although the manufacturer of this product only recommends this product to be given to the rats for four weeks to make them infertile, I decided to give it to them for three months to ensure that all 50 rats got a sufficient amount of the birthcontrol. About two months later, I noticed that their numbers seemed to be dwindling. I read online that a rat can live anywhere between 8 to 12 months and since these rats had already lived in my backyard for a few months, I knew that they didn't have long to go. Today, seven months later, my property is completely rat free. Not one rat left behind on my property. And the neighbor who had called the Health Department on me, tried to apologize to me for reporting me, but I wouldn't give him the time of day because he broke the good neighbor policy by "ratting" on me. Anyways, I got rid of the rat problem in my backyard WITHOUT KILLING EVEN ONE RAT. And I believe that God is happy with me for that.

Effective
We have been using Evolve at our farm (in combination with poison). It definitely works. The first couple months we went through a LOT of product but kept after it and now our rodent problem isn’t a problem. Definitely worth it. Before we started treatment we lost 5 litters of rabbits. Give it a try. Definitely worth the investment if used according to directions

Only works if they eat it
I’m concerned these are fairly large hard chunks that seem to be wrapped in plastic and look like tiny sausages and have no scent. I’m checking today to see if any has been eaten and plan to update this review as the months go by as it obviously needs the Rodents to eat it in order to be effective. I’m concerned. Trying to get ahead of spring breeding but the amount showing up in snap traps says I’m behind on that already.

Fingers crossed
Product came as advertised. Rats are eating it so I hope it works as they claim it will.

Rats love it and I love that i don't have to worry about my dog!!!!
Easy to use, rats love it (obviously- see photos!), works (haven't seen young rats and besides this old guy - no problems with rats in and around chicken coop anymore). AND...i don't have to worry about my dog or our neighborhood owls. win-win-win.
