New Balance Men's Fresh Foam X More V5

These are great! I was scared because the price was a little high- but they are so nice. I have really flat feet and almost every sneaker gives me shooting pains after walking for a short time. I did order a half size up and chose the Wide option. They don't squeeze my arch and yet they are still very stable. I think they could run on the narrow side but mine were perfect. I will say though, I wouldn't recommend these for running. Everyday walking shoes is perfect though.

Perfect fit! I'm a men's 10.5 Wide (2E). If you're a wide size, order wide. Trying to just go up a half size did not work for me. I got the Brighton Grey/Calcium/Jade color. The ride is so good. I already killed my Hoka Clifton 9s, so I watched tons of reviews and tried this. Plush, plush, plush, but NOT too squishy. Perfect for nice easy runs, but the rocker helps me pick up the pace a bit when I want to. I'm a 5' 10" 198 lb neutral runner, getting back after some injury time off. The wide base of this neutral shoe provides stability, and the material quality is top notch. I've used them for a month so far, and I'm very happy. When I want to do tempo stuff, I have Endorphin Speed 4s, but this is my go-to for most runs.

I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis 6 years ago. I had steroid injections in my heel and was placed in a soft cast/walking boot for 6 weeks. After being in the boot, I went to a specialty shoe store in the area and this style shoe was recommended. I have been wearing ONLY this style new balance (Fresh Foam X More V5) since and have done well so far, no more injections, no more boot🤞 I am on my feet for 10+ hours a day and typically wear a pair for about 6 months. As they break down, I start to notice some aches and pains in my feet. New shoes, then I'm good to go again! They are expensive but worth every penny!! Highly recommend, your feet will thank you!

Fit perfectly, feel great, and look good!I am a long-term NB loyalist, as my arches are flat - and I have looked hard, and have never found a better fit than their X-Wide (4E) shoes. They are perfect.

Very snug fit. Got wide for toe room but to much pressure on top of foot. Sole was very thick and cushioned. Seam around laces was very rough.

Incredible comfort! These shoes help an old guy in his '70s to walk and climb stairs with no pain. Highly recommend. The super foam inserts make me an inch or two taller and although they are a bit pricey, they are well worth the cost.

As I have gotten older, I can't get too much cushioning for my feet. I like the fresh foam shoes and on the website they talked about this being their maximum cushioning product. They are not cheap but very comfortable. I have used them for about 6 months now and they are holding up to my routine of averaging 10,000 steps a day. I have another pair in my cart

I cannot recommend these less, I cycle through roughly 4 pairs of shoes for road and have never experienced as many issues as I have with these, even after running 1300 miles last year.I’m unsure if I received a pair of “fake” shoes but last year I had purchased the X More V4s in the same size and had put around 400 miles in <6 months on them with no issues.Thinking it was time for a new pair these V5s have been the exact opposite for me, I have put 50 miles on them and still anytime I hit 3 miles in them the bottoms of my feet are on fire. Moving them around to cool them produced toe blisters so no matter what I would do I end up with blisters somewhere. (Mind you the shoes are all I’ve changed and they’re my only pair that does this)The foam on them does not feel like the soft fresh foam I’m used to.If you want to try the shoe I recommend purchasing somewhere more reputable that will allow you to return after wear because I am not convinced these are the same materials as my V4s especially when the V5s have a higher stack height and still feel like something is off.
