A Must for after workout massage.
I had the massage peanut ball but needed to take it to work with me. I bought this for my home gym and it is brilliant. The two rollers offer you a choice of a kneady massage or a soft one. The blue roller is slightly soft but the black one is hard. You have to regulate your weight to increase or decrease the pressure on your muscles. Great for the back and legs after a work out.It is not a massive roller but is perfect for the width of a normal body. I was worried it would be too small but it is plenty and I am 6ft tall.

Foam roll too small
A good travel foam roller but unless you want to use the hard plastic outer part the foam cylinder itself is too small in diameter and is difficult to use.I already had a bigger foam roller so it was a surprise what a difference a few cm diameter can make.If you are used to foam rollers already then you may be happy with using this with the outer on it - which does a good job of deeper tissue massage - but it'll be too hard to start with for most newbies. The roller comes with a handy carry bag and being a little shorter in length than bigger rollers makes it a great travel option. That's what I've ended up using mine for - my bigger roller is my daily use one and this one goes on trips with me!

Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service, fast response to emails and advice quickly given. I love the design of this being 2 rollers in 1. This is my third roller, I use them for my back as I have a couple of vertebraes out and rolling helps to put them back in place. Although the larger roller from this set is too hard and abrasive for that purpose the smaller foam one is surprisingly robust and is perfect for the job. I will use the large one for after workouts and for light massaging. Overall a very happy customer-thank you!

DIY muscle pain relief
I have been sing this for about a week now and have tried both the inner and outer roller. On the basis that the more uncomfortable / painful it is the more effective it is I have just been using the outer roller for my back and legs and have found it really effective. The instructions with the roller are useful but I think they're quite conservative n the legth of time work on each area e.g. it suggests 10 to 15 seconds on the lower back working up to 20 to 30 seconds. I have used it on my lower back for a few minutes at a time and it can be quite excruciating if your musles are sore and you rest all your weight on. It does relieve the stiffness though I haven't managed to completely remove it yet, but the reduction is I'd say up to 80% +. Maybe with repeated use and trying out different points to put pressure on I might improve on this. Your muscles will stiffen up each day to some degree depending on what you're doing so it is necessary to work on hem each day if you want to experience relief. I bought the Trigger Point Self-Care Manual by Donna Finando which I think complements the roller really well because it has detailed drawings of all the muscles in the body, shows where tight points are most likely to develop and gives descriptions and drawings on how to relieve them with specific stretching exercises which are much less painful than using the roller. The book requires quite a bit of study to follow it but it isn't as complex as some reviews say it is. The roller definitely works well if you can stand the pain. I'm going to get some individual trigger point balls next for more targeted pressure relief which might be even more painful. I would recommend this role because it is well made, looks good and works and is a reasonable price for the quality.

but I found a video a bit more useful. One star deducted as the inner foam roller ...
I am addicted to foam rolling after purchasing this item. Watch a YouTube video for how to do this correctly. It comes with some instruction, but I found a video a bit more useful. One star deducted as the inner foam roller has collapsed a little bit after 2 weeks use. The middle has sagged a little. This doesn't affect the functionality of the product too much.

ok, but painful on your back
Now, I expected this to be hard and sore, but I didn't expect it to be this painful. Basically it's ok for legs, however it's almost unbearably painful on your back, even if you try to use the flat parts of the foam roller. The inner roller is well, foamy. I'm a large guy, and using that on my back left it oval shaped. However if you only need this for legs, then the bag is handy to carry it and store it too. and I assume the smaller foam roller is probably ok if you don't weigh too much.

This is the best one of all 3
I have owned 3 foam rollers in the last couple of years. This is the best one of all 3. It combines the designs of the flat roller and the grid roller in one product. My first one was a smooth roller which started to dent in the middle. This one is made of a denser foam and holds it shape well. the grid roller of my old foam roller started to fall apart. This one is more robust and shows no damage after being thrown in the boot of my car. The compact design makes it easy to take to the gym and fitness sessions.

Quick snap review
Product used intermittently over the last year.First impressions were great. Small compact 2 in 1 design, 2 firmness of roller, nice "gymy" colour scheme. With semi regular use both rollers have not deformed. Outer knobbled/panelled roller is great for a deep harder hitting muscle massage especially for the larger muscle groups. Smaller/softer roller nice for beginners/warm up or small/neck areas. With a bit of research (YouTube) you will able to find some advice and gain a better understanding of the benifits of foam rolling and what this type of product can do. If you are into training regularly and want to aid recovery this product is competively priced and of good quality to last you on your fitness journey.
