Lab Created Synthetic Blue Star Sapphire Round Cabochon Loose Stones from 4mm - 12mm

At just 6mm, this is a tiny star sapphire. First picture in normal indoor light, second picture taken with the flash on. Compared to the larger oval sapphire, I think the little one's star is more defined. For reference the larger oval is 16mm by 12mm, and was sold to me as a transparent synthetic star sapphire. Got the little one to see if I might want to get a larger non-transparent star, and I think I will. I like that the stone is synthetic as well; never understood why people would pay more for an imperfect product with inclusions that is so hard on the environment when synthetics are chemically identical and flawless.

Nothing like the clarity pictured, a dull lifeless milky stone. Star sapphires have been created for 50 years or more, I guess I was expecting something like the old Linde Stars or at least what was in the photo..

Looks good loose under a light. I have not placed it in setting yet. But I am please with the color and size of this jewel. I would recommend this item and buy more in the future. I love the price. Thank you 😊

I received the items I ordered quickly,so that was great but, the two star sapphire stones were way smaller than I expected.Some size reference pictures would have been nice to see(taking a picture of it/them next to a $.25 coin).

A tiny thing that in no way reflects or shines in the way shown in the photo. It's a hard little chunk of dark dark blue. Underwhelming.
