I got this so I can have a tripod style camera mount on my mountain bike. This clamped onto my handlebars very well and has been a solid mount.

I use this on my mountain bike and it does a great job keeping my gopro solid and in place, even on rough terrain.

How did I ever come to this drop my camera with this cheap clamp.i was using it for my motorcycle. So don't if you want it for the same reason.

This clamp is strong enough to hold an action cam in place, but the build quality is not great. It is mostly plastic and feels kind of cheap. I own similar clamps for similar prices that feel much more durable and are made of better quality plastics and more metal parts. This clamp should get the job done in most situations, but I do question its long-term reliability, and I have to acknowledge that there are better quality products on the market for similar prices.

I’ve been using it on the hot shoe of my camera for a light, I want to get an external monitor at some point but for now I use my phone

I’m using this to mount a wildlife camera to my bird feeder pole. I like getting pictures of all the fun creatures that wander through the yard. This mount is a huge step up from the cobbled together stuff I was using. It holds the pole tightly, the camera mount is secure, and the joints are not moving at all!I half expected it to droop or sag, but nothing of the sort. It’s surprisingly solid for a mount that’s mostly plastic. I do have it mounted in the shade to protect the plastic from the sun, and I’m sure it’s not going to hold up long term as well as a solid metal mount, but it’s great for what I’m doing. Well worth a try!

I ordered this clamp to hold my gopro over my work station on a horizontal bar while I am filming myself working on projects that require an overhead shot. I really like how well constructed this clamp is. The versatility is endless because I can use it to record bike rides with my children as well. Highly recommended.

This clamp works well.We attached it to a recorder and it held it well and didn't swivel around (which it would if it were loose). The locking washers on both ends are a benefit.The clamp works on larger diameter tubes, but when trying to use it on something smaller than about 3/4 inch will be less secure. It's meant for motorcycle handlebars, which are probably bigger than this. It felt really sturdy and the gopro mount is really nice.This seems like it will work great for its intended purpose and beyond that, even if you're attaching it to other things and using it with other devices, it's still really solid.
