These are amazingly easy to work with and install during next oil change. They help to help the job less messy as you drain directly into bucket/container via hose, no splashing oil. Just get the oil good and hot then drain oil into container and during the draining, I check the other things under the hood. Check battery, air filter and other fluids too. After draining is complete you turn valve to lock and insert keeper, and I cover valve with rubber cap from parts store.

Bought the Fumoto Valve and found this is required for My 2019 Honda Odyssey. I bought both long and short adapters hoping the shorter one fit, but it did not. I had to use the longer one which turned out to be less expensive. Used a 22mm (or possibly 24mm) socket.

Easy install. I bought it for my Honda Pilot 09 as a just in case, and what do you know i did need it. Do not over tighten the gasket might rip. I’ve had no oil leak.

The drain valve did not fit my 2009 Mercury Mariner, so I bought this adapter and now everything fits great! No issues with the adapter--it doesn't leak, it's pretty durable. Very pleased with the quality of this product!

I had to buy this so I could use the drain valve on my 2005 Honda Odyssey. It works fine and I have had no issues with it at all.
