Columbia Men’s Glennaker Lake II Rain Jacket

Great jacket. Nice quality for price. Ordered a Med for my 16 year old son. 5’6” slim. Fits nicely. Not too hot, rain jacket.

I really like that the hood can be stored inside the collar. It’s a neat feature and gives the jacket a cleaner look when the hood isn’t needed. If you like dressing in layers, this jacket also works great as an outer waterproof layer over other clothing.

I put this Columbia Glennaker through some serious testing during just under 3 weeks in Peru at the start of rainy season, and it definitely kept me dry. Got caught in the rain on multiple day hikes and two treks, and the waterproof shell held up perfectly. The jacket is impressively light and rolls up small enough that I could store it in my backpack's water bottle holder for easy access - super convenient when the weather changes quickly. The packable design and stow-away hood make it ideal for travel. The only issue I ran into was during the hike to Machu Picchu. It poured the entire morning and the jacket kept the rain out completely, but I was so hot from the intense climb that I ended up drenched in sweat by the time I reached the top. The jacket just doesn't breathe well enough for strenuous warm-weather hikes. For casual hiking, city travel, or cooler conditions, it's perfect. But if you're planning intense hikes in warm, rainy weather, you might want something with better ventilation. Overall though, for the price and packability, it's a solid rain jacket for general travel use.

Hard to go wrong with Columbia fpr gear l;ike this. This is the perfectcarry-around with you rain jacket. Folds up incredibly small, but does a great jhob as a rain jacket!

Holds up great for light-medium rain. Very compact and easy to pack in a backpack. It’s *very* thin, and will not keep you warm. But if all you need is a shell, this will work.

This waterproof jacket is excellent quality. It does a great job keeping water out I’ve used it in the rain and stayed completely dry. One thing to note is that the sizing runs a bit large. I weigh about 70 kg (154 lbs) and I’m 175 cm (5’9”), and the size M felt too big. I ordered another one in size S and it fit perfectly. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended if you want something durable and truly waterproof just consider sizing down.

Fit well but was very thin material. I paid $72 with taxes on sale and it had a $50 tag on it. I returned it for a refund wasn’t for me.

Veste légère très agréable à porter mais réservée à une utilisation par températures clémentes car elle est vraiment très fine et ne tiendra pas chaud. Si l’on recherche un peu de chaleur, il faudra porter des vêtements plus épais en dessous. Sinon, elle est très pratique avec ses deux poches latérales zippées et deux poches intérieures. La capuche peut être enroulée dans une doublure en scratch et les poignets ajustés par des scratchs également.
