I am a teacher and I am always carrying multiple things from room to room. I need a tote that is functional, roomy and that stands up when I put it down. This is a nice little tote, it is smaller, but, it has a lot of compartments that expand to fit your things. I particularly like the water bottle feature that keeps it in place and upright and the tote stands up and does not flop over when I put it down. Overall, very pleased. Would buy again and the only reason for 4 stars is not having an idea on durability. Will I make it through this or multiple years, not sure yet, but it is constructed well of canvas fabric. Like the two handles with the shoulder strap for flexibility.

Update: While i stand on my review, i am upping this to a 5 star review. The company reached out to me without prompting to resolve my issue. The customer service and experience with this company is outstanding! Kuddos for service excellence!The quality wasn't exactly what I was expecting. The bag doesn't have a stiff bottom to it so when you put it down it falls over even when you have books are something of that nature in it. The fabric is also soft rather than stiff and structured. The size is great and the pockets are very helpful and useful. The shoulder strap is very sturdy and the hooks are great. I can use it while my other bible bag is being washed but, I wouldn't buy it again.

I love this canvas purse. Sturdy enough to sit up and to hold some semi heavy stuff. I don’t put a lot of stuff in my purses and that is why I like it. Things stay in place.This has enough pockets for me. It’s made well. I’m planning on getting a black one soon.

This bag seems well made. The color is a nice rich black and the pockets are large enough to hold a small water bottle. I love the large compartment but I'm a little disappointed in the lack of bottom support.There is no solid bottom, so the bag does not stay up. Its more like a reusable grocery bag. I did make a bottom out of a thick piece of cardboard, and that made a world of difference. That being done made this bag a Keeper!

Bag arrived without the shoulder strap. Upon looing at other reviews, I now know this has happened to others that ordered the bag.I am also disappointed that it doesn't have an insert at the bottom of the bag to help it remain rigid when you set it down. That, along with the fact that it wasn't shipped in a box and then it was folded and stuffed into my mailbox so the canvas was not stiff when it arrived, I am skeptical that it will remain upright when I put articles in it to carry.I will probably return it for these reasons but I do like the many pockets which is why I will rate it a three.

Bought this little black tote hand bag for a new job. I love all the extra pockets, the size, and the straps!I’m a server so, I needed something practical and affordable for work. This bag is strictly for work. I carry extra pens, server book and my apron. When I get ready to head out the door I shove my 32oz water bottle inside and I’m out. Super easy and convenient. My only issue with this bag is the material. I would’ve liked a bag that doesn’t collapse when it’s empty. I guess a sturdier material is what I was expecting. Like that shown on the picture. Overall rating is good
