Gave this as a gift to my aunt. This is absolutely adorable, and works really well.

I purchased this as a gift for my mother's birthday. She is really into the "southern ranch" theme for her house, so this was a no-brainer. So far, this gift has been wonderful to her. I am happy that she finds the wax warmer super cozy and appropriate for the home to have!

If you want this simply to use as a nightlight or decor, buy it. It's adorable! Unfortunately, it's use as a wax warmer is subpar. I have tried several different brands/scents of wax and I can never smell it. It melts the wax quickly but I think it has something to do with the metal it's made out of? It doesn't permeate the room like my other wax candle does. Needless to say, I have been using it for 6 months anyway because it's really cute and I like the light it provides. Well, it's been six months and the light bulb burned out...and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to open this up to change out the bulb. The top (where the wax is) doesn't come off. The bottom is welded shut...so I'm pretty upset that I paid $30 for something that never worked as it should and now doesn't even work as decor because I can't switch the bulb. Oh, and now it's on sale for $21...even more irritating. Of course, the return window is closed and I can't reach the seller to figure this out.Update: thanks to another Amazon reviewer who told me the bottom lifts out I was able to pry the bottom loose. Some melted wax had apparently gotten in the bottom plate and sealed it shut. This warmer takes special light bulbs (I assume most do). I'm not going to buy them though because it still didn't work well as a wax warmer so it's not worth investing in those light bulbs. I may keep it as a night instead.

My mom loves the rustic look and I figured this was a nice christmas present. she absolutely loved it when opening it so its a win for me!

This milk jug is cute, and it works well, but, man, it gets HOT! Of course it does, the entire thing is cast metal. This is slightly problematic, you can't exactly (or I guess you could, but I sure don't have the space) stick this whole thing in your freezer to pop out the used wax. The whole jug lifts off a thin base holding a naked bulb. It's hot enough to blister you if you try to use the handle to pour the wax out, but a simple pot holder solves that problem. It is, however, very hot, even in the base, so I set mine on a Fiesta plate on the accent table it sits on. Problem #2 solved pretty easily as well. For the love of Pete, just don't use this thing around toddlers who might be prone to cruise along and pull it down on themselves.

Its cute but my only issue is the scent doesn't distribute as well as others I've owned have. It's not a major issue it still works it just seems to take longer.
